Our cockatoo loves this! I wind it through the bars on her cage and she loves shredding it, I go through a lot of this and it's a great supplement to her other toys
Our cockatoo loves this! I wind it through the bars on her cage and she loves shredding it, I go through a lot of this and it's a great supplement to her other toys and to keep her busy. I don't recommend this as a main toy of course, but this is a great additional fun activity to have to keep your bird occupied and happy.
Parakeet did not like it.

Wind it through the cage bars
My birds (parakeets) love it. I wind it through the cage bars (over, under, over, under) near a perch and they love picking it apart while standing on the perch

I have a parakeet who loves to destroy “stuff” so I had high hopes that this would keep her entertained for long periods of time. Didn’t happen! I cut a nice length
I have a parakeet who loves to destroy “stuff” so I had high hopes that this would keep her entertained for long periods of time. Didn’t happen! I cut a nice length piece and it has been hanging in her cage for over a month. I have moved it to different places when I clean her cage and she has yet to even try to touch it! I know she is fearful and suspicious of new things in her cage but this has gone well past the amount of time she usually takes to warm up to a new toy! Wish I knew someone who could use this because I don’t want to throw it away. :-(
