Playology Beef Scented Young & Active Teething Ball Dog Toy, Medium

This is a really great idea: a scented thing to encourage chewing. By default it discourages chewing on things we don't want the little ones to chew on -- when we see them either actively chewing on ... say ... a table leg, or aiming for it, we can easily distract them by rolling this yummy smelling thing to them, or actively distract them by putting it in their mouth so there is no room for the table leg. Because of the scent it is much more likely to attract their attention. This toy is made for medium to large breeds. Our dog is way too small for this toy and is older. But she looks very cute next to it. The package says dishwasher safe and not toxic for children! Both of those are good to know. Especially the non-toxic for children, especially if you have small children crawling and rolling around with your puppy, as happens in our home on occasion. The package says "all natural scent" and "no chemicals". The package doesn't say what it is made of, or what the "natural scent" is, so I assume it is proprietary stuff that Playology developed. It appears highly scientific. I trust Chewy to not sell products that will be harmful to any animals.

My 20 lb dog absolutely loves this ball! It is his new favorite ball and that says a lot since he used to have a ball he protected from the other dogs! I think he loves the shape of the ball and the bonus of the beef flavoring. A+++++ on this wonderful ball!!
