Playology Bacon Scented Squeaky Chew Ball Dog Toy, Medium

I was really excited about these because they had good reviews and my dogs like balls - a lot .One of my dogs loves the squeaky balls no so for Maggie I got these balls and I thoughtthe scent & squeak would make them very attractive to her but other than when we first unboxed them and they were just a novelty, my dogs have not played with them at all. They smelled them one time and left them alone. They don’t notice them in the yard anymore than other balls so I would never order these again. It’s not that I would want to return them or get a refund I mean but they’re just balls to my Goldens . Apparently, some people love these balls because of the smell. I got the red beef ones because somebody said not to get the yellow ones and I got the purple extra large one that was bacon scented ( neither was interesting like the chuck it balls - after 20 years of having four dogs usually at a time I should know by now that Chuck it is the best ( imho ) Now if your dog likes a scented ball these are very strong -I could tell they’re very well made ball and I wouldn’t never worry about my dog destroying them. In fact they were a little too heavy, which is why I think my dogs didn’t like them and then it’s not their first choice one of my dogs is about 50 pounds and I think it was actually hard for her to pick up the xl ball in her mouth( she’s used to a lightweight ball like chuck it . Still I’d say they’re a quality product . But unless got a big heavy dog I’m not sure I’d get the extra large ball bc if the weight .

My sweet Mellow girl loves the playology brand so it was no surprise to see her taking a liking to this bacon scented ball.

Samson usually destroys any toy that squeaks within a couple hours. I can’t believe he still is playing with this ball and has not been able to tear it apart!!
