I ordered the collar specifically because it’s lined with white leather on the inside, so I don’t have to worry about staining my standard poodle’s coat (something I’ve seen happen with other collars). It looks just like the photo and the leather is soft and feels durable. Can’t speak for long-term wear yet, but it seems like it will be durable! My dog was between sizes on the size chart so I got the larger option, and it fits well. The excess leather doesn’t stick out because the collar has loops to hold it.
