Small perch too large
I ordered the SMALL perch for the outside of her new cage. The small perch received measures 1.5" thick and the tag says SMALL - COCKATIEL. The specs however read 1". My green cheek conure has little claws and this is way too thick for her to sit comfortable only. X-SMALL might have been better. I think the specs are incorrect and/or the tag on the product.
Perfect Perch for Macaw!
I recently bought Polly's Pet Products Hardwood Bird Perch for my macaw and it's a total game-changer. The diameter is ideal for my bird's feet, supporting natural posture and grip. Plus, the texture is exactly what a macaw needs for claw health. It's super durable and easy to set up. My macaw adores it, and so do I. Highly recommend for parrot parents!
Inconsistent sizing and quality
I want to give this less stars because of the huge inconsistency in sizing but I’m not because these are my birds absolute favorite perches and if you get a perch that just won’t work for your bird Chewy’s really great about making things right. Talking about inconsistencies I’ve gotten a small that is 1/2 inch diameter all the way to 1 and 1/4 inch diameter. That is a huge difference for the same size perch. The length is always consistent at least, but even though it’s annoying trying to get the right size perches like I said before they are my bird’s absolute favorite perches and I will continue to buy them for him.
Parakeet loves it
My bird loves it. I will be reordering. So fun for him to tear off the bark. Natural materials, too, which is the best.
Real Wood!
This is the perfect perch for your buddy. I was looking for something natural and that is exactly what I got. My bird loves it, he now sleeps on this perch. I have a lovebird.

but my two parakeets ignore it Im going to move it during the next big cage cleaning to see if that makes a difference
