Instructions

Mounting

Clean mounting surface and suction cups with alcohol before using. Suction cups may be distorted during shipping, however, the shape will be restored when mounted on clean glass for several hours prior to use. Surfaces other than clean, smooth, and non-porous may have unpredictable results. For best results apply a small amount of baby oil or petroleum jelly to the rims of the suctions cups.

Shower

  • Don't turn show on full blast - start with a light shower.
  • Adjust the water temperature before you put the bird on the perch. (Luke warm, never hot)!
  • To stop the bird from flying pull the shower curtain or close the shower door.
  • If the bird attempts to chew up the suction cups, cover the cups with a wash cloth.
  • To clean your bird's feet and for better grip, use a wet wash cloth for your bird to stand on.
  • Never leave your bird unattended.

Window

  • Check window temperature and observe your bird for signs of overheat or cold (panting or fluffing).
  • Don't push too hard when mounting the suctions cups on glass.
  • Add a toy or rope to the screw-eye for entertainment and exercise.

Car

  • Use window & door locks if available.
  • Tighten and fold away screw to reduce movement during acceleration & braking if required.

    Great Perch for Cockatiels

    By on

This perch is great! Our cockatiel Chicky has free roam of the house and loves hanging out in the bedroom. I attached this perch to the mirror and put a tray on the floor but the dogs kept knocking it around. Today I added a Rubbermaid container under it, by drilling 2 holes on each side and adding string. It works perfect! Thought I’d share this hack with others struggling with the mess under the perch. Oh and the zip tie is just because she loves playing with plastic :)

    Best perch yet!

    By on

We love this perch... to say the least! We can move it to any window, glass door or even a smooth plastic surface (such as the fridge, lol). My bird loves to sit on it & watch the wild birds outside.. sometimes I catch her napping on it in the sun too.

    Even small is BIG

    By on

These run big in my opinion. I ordered this for a Sun Conure. I got the small. But it's huge & unfortunately ALL of my parrots ( Sun conure, Rock conure, & Blue front Amazon) are terrified of it. None of them will even attempt to use it. I also mistakingly forgot to take it off my auto ship so now I have 2 that nobody will use.

    Missing suction cup

    By on

Bought this for my 2 conjures. Received with only 1 suction cup. Disappointed because my son was looking forward to the joy of watching them play in the water. Still unable to have the birds take showers.

    Very well made

    By on

I got on sale, I wouldn't pay full price. She hates showers, but she is perch trained to poop when you put her on a perch. So its great to stick on a window for wherever we sit to have as a place to put her so she can poop in the trash can underneath instead of on me! Its very sturdy for my conure, she doesn't slip with the grippy perch. You could put a larger bird, the diameter is pretty thick.

    Broken arm

    By on

This stand has 2 suction cups that slide into PVC piping pieces which then attach to a middle piece where the stand protrudes from. I’m not sure if the suction pieces are supposed to rotate or unattach, but only one of mine does so either one is stuck or the other broke off. A part of it certainly seems broken, where the chunk is missing from it. It flops all over the place with this break. Also? The arm drops if my bird is too far on the end and he’s a relatively small conure.

    Perfect Perch

    By on

No idea why people can't get this to stick. Don't you know you have to get a suction cup wet first? This perch holds tight to the window and the tiles in the shower. Love it!
