Works great! Louis loves it, we also use it for our green cheek conure, but the MB on his picture is too large to upload. Cleaned my shower wall and did everything it said. Haven't had any issues with suction cups which was my main concern
My birds love showers and gazing outside with the help of this perch. 10/10 would recommend idk what I would do without it. I love bringing my birds with me when I put makeup on and study near my big window. This perch makes my birds and me so happy!
It took him a few days to accept it but now he loves it. I keep it up pretty high so he just gets the steam.
I paid $28.86 for this shower perch that is maybe worth $3.00. My little cockatiel seems to be too heavy for the perch, as it starts to fall off the wall when he lands on it. Get your own pvc pipe, suction cups, screws and perch and make your own. It will probably be more sturdy.
The idea behind the product is a good one but the suckers do not hold to the tile or shower walls very well. Also the base where suction cups meet pvc pipe is not at all sturdy. The size is perfect for my quaker and cockatiel but it cannot hold their weight. Their weight (one bird) makes the base pull excessively on the cups making it lose it's hold. Please rethink your design. Birds like STABLE perches, not ones that give way.
This perch is great! Our cockatiel Chicky has free roam of the house and loves hanging out in the bedroom. I attached this perch to the mirror and put a tray on the floor but the dogs kept knocking it around. Today I added a Rubbermaid container under it, by drilling 2 holes on each side and adding string. It works perfect! Thought I’d share this hack with others struggling with the mess under the perch. Oh and the zip tie is just because she loves playing with plastic :)
We love this perch... to say the least! We can move it to any window, glass door or even a smooth plastic surface (such as the fridge, lol). My bird loves to sit on it & watch the wild birds outside.. sometimes I catch her napping on it in the sun too.
These run big in my opinion. I ordered this for a Sun Conure. I got the small. But it's huge & unfortunately ALL of my parrots ( Sun conure, Rock conure, & Blue front Amazon) are terrified of it. None of them will even attempt to use it. I also mistakingly forgot to take it off my auto ship so now I have 2 that nobody will use.
Maybe its the suction cups I got on this one but one is always coming off of the window. It hasn't fallen yet, one suction cup still holds it, but it's usually hanging by the one. I wouldn't trust it to stay in the car. I imagine that's why it was on sale? I like the perch with the 'sandpaper' like finish. My bird can hold on really good in the shower. It works great in the shower since I'm right there and can keep an eye on it. It might cause problems in the car if I were driving along and it started to fall... =O
Bought this for my 2 conjures. Received with only 1 suction cup. Disappointed because my son was looking forward to the joy of watching them play in the water. Still unable to have the birds take showers.
