What size would you recommend for my Fancy Green Cheek Conure?

Answer by ChewySep 12, 2018
The measurements of the Small perch are 12.5 inches long x 1 inch in diameter and the Large is 16 inches long x 2 inches in diameter. The Small is appropriate for most Conure, Cockatiel, Lovebird, and Parakeet size birds while the Large is better suited for Cockatoo and Macaw size birds.

How do I turn this so it’s facing out the picture says it folds but I can’t get it to stick out for my birds to use

Answer by ChewyJan 22, 2023
See the two attached images below. The perch arrives folded as in picture #1 (Folded). Then with a twist, it will unfold as in picture #2 (Unfolded). The perch does not twist easily for the safety of the bird.

What is the difference between this & the deluxe bird perch?

Answer by ChewyJun 19, 2019
This model features a non-slip, sand coating and the Polly's Pet Products Deluxe Window & Shower Bird Perch is made with a textured rubber perch.

Is there anti slip gripping on the perch?

Answer by ChewyMar 23, 2024
The perch has a textured surface for a secure grip.

Not recommended for parrots

This might work best for birds which can’t pull the suction cups off by chewing at them. Should have some protective covers, otherwise may cause injury when it falls

Good idea but...

Suction cups consistently loose suction and perch falls. I've tried many different surfaces from glass to tile to stainless steel, and it will not stay up.

suction cup window/shower bird perch

This is a great idea to allow my birds to sit on and look out the window and get some sunshine. I have tried to get this to stick to a window but it keeps falling

This is a great idea to allow my birds to sit on and look out the window and get some sunshine. I have tried to get this to stick to a window but it keeps falling off even before any bird sits on it. I have moistened it but that doesn't help. I will return it.

shower post

both birds like the shower post since I remodeled my bathroom, I have a rain shower head and let the post halfway getting wet, so they move themselves in and out

Good quality and actually stays on the shower wall.

This shower perch was rough textured, so I wrapped with sports tape. If you can make one with a hardwood perch, it will not abrade the foot pads. Once wrapped,

This shower perch was rough textured, so I wrapped with sports tape. If you can make one with a hardwood perch, it will not abrade the foot pads. Once wrapped, my birds loved it. It stays put with a 500 gm bird hanging from it.

Great perch

My bird loves to sit on this perch in the shower. It’s very sturdy. I’ve used this on the window as well so he can look outside.

Had to cover with shirt then my bird would stand on

My macaw and my cocatiel were afraid of if they did not like the sandpaper feeling or the blue color

My cockatiel's favorite spot to spend the day

Everyday when my bird came out of the cage, he goes directly to this stick and look outside or fly around from.
