The Trailblazin' Bear Bell is wonderful! It's so much fun and it's a practical useful item. I can see my dog using the bell around the holiday season and also hiking on a trail. I love the bright orange color I think this is especially helpful for hikers who live in areas where there are hunters. I love that it's made in the USA. There are a lot of little extras to the spell such as the thick velcro strap and the thick plastic buckle in the back. The bell makes a wonderful sound it's not like a cat bell its a louder clear jingle. The bell makes the kind of sound you would hear on a Christmas sleigh drawn by horses. There is also a little engraved paw print.
Jingling All The Way

Attaching the large sized “Trailblazing Bear Bell” to the Poodle’s collar with the super strong, adjustable velcro strap was easy. The strap is a day glow orange so it is very easy to spot when Poodle is running around outside. The bell has a clear loud jingling ring that you can hear from far away. The bell also has a cute paw print design on it. This one is durable and well made. Can’t be sure about it keeping bears away but I think the squirrels, cotton-tails, and all the neighbors can surely tell where Poodle is at all times. It’s just great fun hearing her running around jingling all the way.

It's a good bell. We don't particularly go anywhere where there are bears around but it's good to have on him when he's outside so I can hear where he is. It is a solid design with the Velcro piece that hooks easily onto the collar (top or bottom) we chose the top as you see in the picture. The bell has a good, clear sound to it that my doggie kept turning around to try to get at it. Well made bell if you do hike out in the woods or just want to be able to hear where your doggie is outside.
My 4th bear bell. This is a better design.

I use bear bells on my dogs for a number of reasons but in particular to help find my deaf senior dog who sometimes is camouflaged in the woods. She is slow but sometimes I cannot see her. the bell helps me to always find her. I have bought a number of bear bells previously, most look like smaller cow bells. They hold up well but the problem that I have had with previous (and more expensive bear bells from hunting supply stores is)- 1. The cow bell design fills up with snow and stops working. 2. No velcro, just a loop to put the bell on a collar so they cannot be put on a wide collar unless I add something else, like a key ring loop. I really like this design because I don't have those two problems. The sleigh bell design won't allow snow to jam in the bell and the velcro is a game changer. This is a cheaper option and a much nicer design. Seems like it will hold up well.
Easy and Effective!

I have 3 very active dogs who love to romp in the large woods near our cabin, however there are times when we surprise some animals that I'd rather not encounter (badgers, coyotes, bear), as well as deer which do not need to be spooked by my dogs. I decided to try the Trailblazin Bear Bell on one of my dogs that tends to venture out the farthest---it has been easy to quickly attach and detach from my dog's collar, it provides a clear "jingling" bell sound which is not annoying, and it lets me know where this particular dog is located. I have only been using this for a couple of weeks and thus far, the velcro has held up well. It has worked so well that I may just keep the bell on the collar permanently and remove the collar when inside.
Great Idea, But Too Noisy for Our Pup
The concept of the Poochie-Pets TrailBlazin’ Bear Bell is great, and it’s extremely easy to attach to a collar. It stayed on securely, even during outdoor play
The concept of the Poochie-Pets TrailBlazin’ Bear Bell is great, and it’s extremely easy to attach to a collar. It stayed on securely, even during outdoor play. Unfortunately, the constant jingling drove our dog a little nuts, so it didn’t end up being a good fit for us. Still, a solid option if your dog doesn’t mind the noise.
Hear your pups, even if you can’t see them!
Works great for our 2 labs! When we take them on their adventures, we can hear where they are when we can’t see them, (tall grass, corn stalks) The bell is loud
Works great for our 2 labs! When we take them on their adventures, we can hear where they are when we can’t see them, (tall grass, corn stalks) The bell is loud but not annoying! It’s has an adjustable strap, that is very secure, the strap is Velcro which makes it easy to take off at the end of the trip.
Another jingle bell
I have bells on Millie's collar to keep track of her. My yard is fenced in and it surrounds the house. It helps me track her, especially after dark. I just listen

Works Well

I wanted this not only for bears and other wildlife, but also to keep track of my dog in the woods while we walk. The sun comes up late and goes down early in northern Wisconsin, but by putting this bell on my smaller dog, I am able to know exactly where she has wandered in the woods and keep track of her.
