Imagine my annoyance when my indoor cat escaped and gallivanted around the neighborhood, coming home hours later without his collar with his RFID tag. This means he can't access his automatic feeder. Imagine my dismay when I discovered that the company that makes the feeder is out of business and I have no way of buying a new tag! But a quick search later, I discovered Chewy carries them. A few days later, my cat has a new collar, a new ID tag, and a new RFID tag that synched with his feeder. And it works perfectly. Thank you for having these available!

Works great with the pets in our house. The battery replacement has been very convenient and tag has done exactly what we need it to. Food stealing has decreased significantly in our household and despite comments regarding the size, my 15 lb cat doesn't seem to mind at all. Easy to use and has been super helpful during meal times.
RFID collar tag
Love the self feeder, it does as intended. The collar does work, but like others have mentioned, It’s big and bulky not to mention my cat keeps dunking the reader

Getting a little expensive. If they could make the reader smaller I would give this 5 stars.

Saving Our Sanity!
While being a bit larger than the original tag, this one allows for battery replacement saving the trouble of acquiring a new tag. We have re-enlisted the services
While being a bit larger than the original tag, this one allows for battery replacement saving the trouble of acquiring a new tag. We have re-enlisted the services of our PortionPro Rx feeder and put the new tag on our adult Great Dane to keep him out of our new puppy's food. The feeder is set to close when the big guy approaches the feeder, keeping the fur babies safe and saving their humans a lot of aggravation!

The tags work great together with the feeder. They are a bit big but our cats (16 and 18 lbs) have absolutely no problem with them. After 2 days they completely ignored them. As far as the comments from somebody else are concerned, you cannot use the pet's implanted chip because you have to read it within an inch or 2. And anything you want to have picked up 3 feet away will need its own battery so it can send signals out.
Rather Bulky, but works great
The collar Tag is rather big and heavy to be hanging from my Chiweenie dog's collar. So I put a harness on her and zip tied the Tag to her chest.
