This works exactly as we needed it to. We bought a clear plastic storage tote with a snap on lid large enough to hold a 50# bag of chicken feed. We spaced all 3
This works exactly as we needed it to. We bought a clear plastic storage tote with a snap on lid large enough to hold a 50# bag of chicken feed. We spaced all 3 ports on the same side of the tote. We can see how much feed is in the tote and know when to purchase and refill. Our girls got adjusted to it pretty quickly. The ports and the hole kit that comes with it are all of exceptional quality. If you are considering, we highly recommend.
Works as it should
Easy to understand instructions and to build. Not for eliminating waste or keeping pests out unless you keep your feeder elevated at night.

The directions led us to make hole to close to bottom of bucket which In turn would not allow for stable placement on surface.. Way too expensive.

Mice can still access feed
I was hopeful for this option but found out that the mice are more acrobatics than I thought. I had it hanging and I saw mice jumping into and out of the 5 gallon
I was hopeful for this option but found out that the mice are more acrobatics than I thought. I had it hanging and I saw mice jumping into and out of the 5 gallon bucket with a lid through the openings this hardware provides. I wanted it to work, but it did not for us.

I thought these would help curb my birds wasteful feeding. quite the opposite.. they still get their heads in the feeder, and dump out food. It’s a shame
