This antler my dog LOVED! But it only lasted a week and it was chewed up so fast, I bought the same size one at a pet store and it lasted for almost a month. Not good for a super chewer! :( not sure if it’s good for a softer chewer..
Not sure if we just got a bad one or if our last antler was a different type. The antlers we’ve bought from another store last a few months but this one splintered a chunk off within the first few minutes so we already had to take it away.
Antlers are one of those things where the consistently good ones are hard to find. When you do find one, the next time you order, the price is doubled and so you try something else. This one is as advertised, but I thought it would be a bit thicker. Oh well. It’s decent enough.
My dog, a medium size Border collie, and our German Shepherd adult male, love these antlers. I feel good that they are enjoyed by our dogs and they don't break off into dangerous pieces that can harm their digestive systems. Well priced also.
My toughhh chewer has been chewing on this non stop for over a month and it’s still doing good! Will be re ordering
This is good for my 12 week old lab, but my adult lab was eating pieces of it on the first day. The other antler I have is much harder and thicker and not consumable like this one.
We adopted a 6 month old GSP who loves to chew on any and everything (including our furniture/moulding). This antler is a godsend! He loves this thing and will chew on it for HOURS. We’ve tried a lot of bones and toys, all of which he destroyed within a few hours. This one has been chewed on for about 4 days straight now and barely has a dent. Expensive, but great buy and worth the cost. Will be buying more!
Waste of money. Started to splinter immediately and I had to take it away from my dog.
We have a German Shepherd/Mastiff mix, this antler has held up well to his aggressiveness. When it is time for another one, we will order this antler.
These are fantastic! My dogs love elk antlers but they are so stinking expensive at the pet store I only buy them at Christmas. The value on these from Chewy is excellent. Elk antlers last longer than deer antlers in my house but I’ll still plan on stocking up every time they go on sale - plus the dogs seem to prefer them. Even full priced, they’re a fantastic value.
