I found when trying to give liquid meds to my dog that he resists and refuses to take them. I was unable to get the liquid into him. He clenches his jaw, shakes, and escapes spitting it everywhere, and runs shaking medications all over me.

Easier than pills in my case

I liked that I could deworm my cats quickly instead of running around the house to try and give them a pill.

Prescription figure out.

My veterinarian didn’t carry this prescription, which was a pill form. When I got online with Chewy, there were all different options, but not the one my vet prescribed. The one that fit my budget best was a liquid form. When I called the helpline, the girl got me in touch with the pharmacist to help out and he help me decipher how much to give my cat for his deworming medicine that he needed for tapeworm. They were very helpful!

Liquid meds

The other reviews are right - if you mix it in with cat food, they leave it in the bowl. Putting it on their tongue with the included syringe works.

Works!

The rescue I work with uses compounded praziquantel so I work with my vet to help kittens that are being TNR'd get the same medications. This stuff tastes terrible

The rescue I work with uses compounded praziquantel so I work with my vet to help kittens that are being TNR'd get the same medications. This stuff tastes terrible to them but it works so well. I prefer a liquid compound because for spitty hissy older kittens I can just squirt it into their mouths when they hiss at me. Then I at least have helped them rid themselves of tape worms. I also treat with flea meds and pyrantel before returning them. So happy to have found it compounded because pilling feral cats is not my idea of a good day ha.

Good design!

Much easier than the pill shooter; he was able to work the pill out of his throat and spit it out, everytime

My cats can taste it and won’t eat treats or food when it is added. I even tried to halve the dose and it didn’t help. I’ve tried it with different treats or wet food and I made sure my cats were really hungry, but that still couldn’t tempt them.
