My senior cat, age 21, yup..21..isn’t able to jump up onto my bed anymore, and she has difficulty climbing as her legs now are showing signs of arthritis. She always slept on my bed prior to her aging difficulties. I previously bought her a three step stair for the couch which she easily uses. I could tell she wants to sleep on my bed again so I decided to buy the 5 steps high density foam stairs. She was hesitant to try the stairs at first but with a little help, she now climbs up and down by herself. The foam stairs are soft enough so I don’t worry about her getting hurt. She’s happier now sleeping on my bed again rather than the couch.

Wish it worked

My 17 lb chiweenie had back surgery and lost some of his strength in his back legs. We tried several different ramps and steps after his surgery and these are the winner. They're the perfect height to help him get on and off the bed. He walks up them like normal but drags his legs behind him when he goes down them. For this reason, their construction being foam and fabric, is the reason that we have purchased a set for every couch. They are sturdy enough that he can easily walk up and down them, and they are soft enough that they don't hurt his back legs when he drags them down.
