The Precious Tails High Density Foam Scalloped Sherpa Top 4 Steps Dog & Cat Stair makes it easier for your furbaby to climb up to be at your side. The stairs can give your best friend easier access to couches, beds and cars. Their wide, tapered, slope step design reduces the incline, so the stairs are easier for your furbaby to climb. These stairs are paw-some for pets with joint or aging problems, as well as for pets who haven’t learned how to hop up onto furniture. The stairs feature a high-density foam interior and a microsuede cover. The sherpa top has a non-skid bottom for security. The removable cover zips off, so you can machine wash it for easy cleaning. Since the foam is light, you can easily move the stairs around your home, and there’s no assembly required. The stairs are paw-fect for pets up to 50 pounds.

This is my second attempt at getting my 2 8 pound, 6 year old Shorkies to use stairs/ramp. The first attempt was actual wide steps. Neither would use the steps, actually terrified them. Now these foam steps/ramp are more successful. After 4 days my little boy goes down on his own and will come up with coaxing. His sister will NOT go up at all but will go down with assistance. I got these because she had a broken leg last month and really needs to use a method other than jumping. Hopefully, she will eventually use these steps/ramp all the time. I strongly recommend training your fur babies to use a method other than jumping up on furniture early on.
I bought these stairs for my 13 year old Maltipoo who has cataracts. I didn't want to buy steps and ramps were too expensive. So these seemed to be the happy medium. I'm SO glad I did! I will give a heads' up in that the stairs come rolled up and you need to allow time (24-48 hours for it to open up completely). Also, if you have hardwood floors, I suggest you get those non-skid strips because these fabric stairs can slid. I always make sure the back is flush against the side of the bed. Other than that? I love these and Padfoot loves that he can join me on the bed for tummy rubs!
These stairs seem sturdy and well-made. I like that they have a washable covering. They are too short to help a cat to reach most furniture like beds and couches. Also my cat who has a paralyzed led refuses to use them for some reason.
We received this Foam Stair and it was a wrinkled mess. It appeared to be used or something. It is definitely not worth the $70 it cost for this thing. Our Maltese is almost bigger than these stairs.
