The thinness of fabric and non reinforced seams

I loved the firm support and fit of the orthopedic bed in our dog's crate. However, after a couple of uses the fabric at the side seams ripped.

Dogs didn’t use it

When I first removed the mat from the box, the material didn’t seem soft or comfy, it was more like a plastic feel. I looked at the tag for cleaning instructions

When I first removed the mat from the box, the material didn’t seem soft or comfy, it was more like a plastic feel. I looked at the tag for cleaning instructions (because that’s really important to me in dog beds/mats and the tag indicates to remove the cover prior to washing…but there is no removable cover. I put the bed/mat on the floor next to the other dog beds to see how the dogs would like it. They didn’t ever lie down on it. I did see the cat on it once, though.

Weatherproof but unused

We've had this for about a month now and our dog, Callie has not laid on it once. The thing I initially loved about it was that it was waterproof and a good indoor/outdoor

We've had this for about a month now and our dog, Callie has not laid on it once. The thing I initially loved about it was that it was waterproof and a good indoor/outdoor bed but instead of laying on it she drinks the water off of it after it rains. She enjoys other beds, just not this one. It seems a little stiff. I'm assuming what makes it weather friendly is also what she doesn't find comforting about it.

I am giving the Precious Tails Orthopedic Cat & Dog Bed Crate Mat 3 stars but I can't actually give an accurate review as my Corgi is afraid of it. I have tried putting treats and toys on the bed, but he's having none of it. I have tried sitting on it and tried to get him to sit with me, but that was a no go too. I have been able to get him to put his front paws on it by putting his food in the middle of the bed. I'm sure it's a great bed, but it's a no from him.

Inaccurate color and size

The manufacturer must be color blind. Teal is no where near the emerald green I received (see pic). I ordered two of these mats , one teal and one mocha. The mocha

The manufacturer must be color blind. Teal is no where near the emerald green I received (see pic). I ordered two of these mats , one teal and one mocha. The mocha was more true to color. In addition, and most importantly, the sizing is off - by an inch on both length and width. At best, this mat measures 24" x 39". At least the 2" height was accurate. A bit disappointing.

it was a little smaller and thinner than I expected but Max liked it.
