Before you know it the collar is 50 feet off and the collar is going crazy and the dog is petrified because of it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product. It sucks but spend the extra money for the good fence collar.

Never picked up enough signal to work

The collar does not work with less than 3 bars of GPS signal, and it straight out of the box it never picked up more than 1 bar, even when I walked around the yard

Inconsistent

Really frustrated with this product. It’s been totally inconsistent with its triggers and recognizing when my dog is in or near the boundary. My yard is tricky:

Really frustrated with this product. It’s been totally inconsistent with its triggers and recognizing when my dog is in or near the boundary. My yard is tricky: the house sits on the property line, but there are several weak points in the fence close to the house. I had to painstakingly figure out a good center point and radius that lets my dog access the doggie door but not let her close to the weak points. I’ve been hesitant to use more than the tone/vibrate option, because I’ve had several nights where the collar starts going off while she’s inside the house, in rooms where she is well within the range. And yet, she’s also escaped the yard five times in the last two days, despite wearing a fully-charged, definitely-turned-on collar for four of those times. It is otherwise simple enough to set up and use. Would be a perfectly fine product if it could actually go off when she’s outside near the boundary, and not when she’s sleeping next to me well within range of the center point.

Shocked my dog in the house

We have been using these collars for around 3 months and they have been great. Unfortunately today while my dog was laying around inside the house, the collar beeped

We have been using these collars for around 3 months and they have been great. Unfortunately today while my dog was laying around inside the house, the collar beeped and then shocked her. She obviously freaked out, damaging my couch, tearing up my leg, and freaking out my baby, while we tried to get the collar off of her. She is now terrified and took forever to stop shaking. I don’t think she will ever come into the living room again or put another collar on. When we got the collar off it said she was 170 feet away from the center point of the boundary (which is wear we have it set to alert them) so something got really messed up. Chewy was super helpful and offered immediately to let us return and refund the collars. Unfortunately we still need the collars as we live on 3 acres with no fencing. They then offered to send replacement collars free of charge which we will be doing. We will not be using the shock mechanism anymore just in case and will hope that the warning beep will be enough to deter our dogs from leaving the boundary. I’m torn on this review because up until now they were awesome, affordable, and exactly what we needed.

Love this GPS Collar!!

You have to have a good signal in your area for it to work. It works really well though. It is at least a football field of distance. My dog has been doing so well

DO NOT BUY!!

We received this collar April 4, 2025 and as of today June 4, 2025 I will not put this collar back on my dog again! We live on a 40-acre farm in central Ohio and

We received this collar April 4, 2025 and as of today June 4, 2025 I will not put this collar back on my dog again! We live on a 40-acre farm in central Ohio and we only used this collar around our house. There are very few trees near our house so the GPS signal should be very strong. The boundary line was set to keep our dog 100 feet from the road but still have enough room for her to be in the front yard. I walked with the collar to verify the setback was set properly before using it on the dog. We also check the center point and setbacks weekly to verify it is working properly (because of how often it doesn't work properly), and we charge the collar nightly to make sure it is ready for each day. Unfortunately, while wearing this collar our dog has still been able to walk on or next to the road at least a half dozen times. The last straw for this collar was today our dog was laying in the sun in the back yard (100+ feet inside her boundary) and the collar must have lost good GPS signal. The collar thought she was outside her boundary and proceeded to shock her until I could get the collar off of her neck. This collar is an absolute waste of money and will randomly torture your dog or worse get them killed by letting them walk in traffic. I do not trust it and wish I could return it for a full refund. Chewy I do not write reviews for products and very rarely complain, but you should not continue to sell these collars. If it does not work properly with how open it is around our home I can't imagine it working anywhere.
