Will an African Grey Parrot fit comfortably

Dimensions on the page does not include 7" for the handle. so the height dimensions total 25.75 x 14.875 x18 inches if you include the handle.

Pet Carrier Upgrade!

This is so much nicer than older model I have. It’s got all the nice features I didn’t even knew I needed, like a metal lip that keeps the dishes in place, seat

This is so much nicer than older model I have. It’s got all the nice features I didn’t even knew I needed, like a metal lip that keeps the dishes in place, seat belt hooks, a secure latch, a removable plastic tray. The only downside is the older one I have is anodized aluminum which is so much lighter and prettier. This one is quite like carrying a cage-sized cast iron skillet around. But it’s got the full suite of “cage” amenities that mean it’s great not just for vet visits, but for overnight trips (where the bird is sleeping in it at a hotel and spending the day out with me on a harness. I obviously wouldn’t have a living thing housed in this for two weeks). Overall great part of a functional aviary set up for small birds!

Our green cheek conure needed no coaxing. She went into the cage and thought it was a great playground for a few hours! We had the door open and she just ate and drank and climbed all over it. I think it just feels like home since we have a similar but much larger cage for her to live in. This travel cage is definitely roomy enough for smaller birds. She could turn and even spread her wings one at a time to stretch. Shewasn’t sure what to do with the perch on top as she’s never had a perch like that before. But she liked being in the cage in the car as well. As a sidenote. We knew the measurements of the cage, but failed to measure the backseat of our car. It takes up a lot more room we thought it would. But it’s sturdy enough and secure enough to put her in the rear of our SUV with maybe a couple of straps. I wouldn’t use bungee cords. I know this is not an approved use of the cage, but we like it even though it’s larger.

Great Carrier for my African Grey

Sturdy and super easy to assemble, this cage is better than I expected and came with everything you need, including bowls and a rope perch. It's great as a carrier

Sturdy and super easy to assemble, this cage is better than I expected and came with everything you need, including bowls and a rope perch. It's great as a carrier but if it was a little bit bigger it could be used as a weekend travel cage.
