Fantastic flight cage for Parakeets

This is a great cage, and I am so glad we got it for our 2 Parakeets. They enjoy all of the space, and they are able to flap their wings and fly a little within

This is a great cage, and I am so glad we got it for our 2 Parakeets. They enjoy all of the space, and they are able to flap their wings and fly a little within the cage. It is very well made and, and it was easy to assemble, though it does take 2 people (easier when it comes to balancing parts).

Sturdy

Super sturdy and pretty! The birds love the room they have! My toddler snuck in and climbed in it and it held no problem, so it appears well built, haha

New cage

This bird cage is the best. The feeder doors are spring release. Exceptional! If you are like me and forget to close doors! My last cage only had 2 front doors

This bird cage is the best. The feeder doors are spring release. Exceptional! If you are like me and forget to close doors! My last cage only had 2 front doors. It was very hard to get into to clean and/ or rearrange toys. I literally hated it. I can’t remember the brand. But remember! If you’re in the market to purchase a flight cage, remember to look for extra feeder doors on the sides. Something this large NEEDS extra ways to get in for cleaning. My boys were initially afraid of it. But once I got them i they liked.

I received my parakeet as a re-home via a co-worker whos military family is being stationed to Germany. She inquired about anyone interesting in taking in her little parakeet. She shoed us photos of a cute little blue parakeet, approximately 1.5 years old, sitting in a little pet store type cage. There were also photos of the little bird, outside her cage, finger sitting and free-flying. I felt good that the bird did get out some, but felt bad about the size cage where it spent most of its awake time. I knew I had to adopt this little, blue girl. I brought her home last week. I ordered this cage before her arrival, but it took a week to arrive. I've spent a week getting her used to me and it is going well. I assembled this cage yesterday. It is actually quite easy as far as HOW to assemble, but if you're alone and trying to do this...you're gonna swear a bit. I did, but I got through it. What I did was to use small strips of duct tape to hold pieces in place, when I needed my hands elsewhere. Overall, all the holes lies up perfectly. The hardware is very sturdy and holds fast in place. one hint, because I had to back up and undo a few pieces. WATCH YOUR BOTTOM SIDE PIECES. THE BOTTOM SIDES WILL HAVE 2 HOLES IN THE TOP (to accept the wire legs of the piece that sits on top of it. The 2 side pieces for the top DO NOT HAVE THESE HOLES. Wow! What a big, nice cage for her. I rolled the cage around, added some perches and toys, then added smaller dishes from her previous cage. I probably won't use the large trough dishes that came with the cage. I like the bottom shelf, to held her extra goodies and food. I slipped the bottom pan into the top slot and skipped using the bottom cage grate. I figure what's the point? It seems like just another thing to clean. She can walk around on the pan floor, if she wants. I think if you had multiple bird and lots of droppings, using the cage-grate floor would be a good idea. LOVE the two giant front doors and the spring action, side feeder doors. Overall this cage is a fantastic deal and is very sturdy. You won't be dissaponted!

Alot of flight room, room for toys/Water/food, Can't recommend the dishes they come with And partially wish they would have sent Metal instead of plastic, Setup

Alot of flight room, room for toys/Water/food, Can't recommend the dishes they come with And partially wish they would have sent Metal instead of plastic, Setup was Easy thought it would have been harder but the hardest part was keeping the Cage Bars fit into the hole/Spots they were assigned, and some screws that hold the base of the Cage to the main part I feel like needed clearer instructions on how to install them, And I would have to mention the Quality of the Cage Lock, (Not a Cage lock really) It's a very stiff Sliding Metal Bar that has a hook at the top to close the door, a Latch or a Flip-Lock would have been better design for the cage, especially considering this is Designed for small birds that are easily startled, Might motify it on my own time to make the doors quieter other than that don't have much to complain about and really enjoy it,

Needs better door panel

Nice big cage for my cockatiel BUT the latch on the cage door came sort of bent and twisted so it's hard to open and makes a loud noice when the latch pops up that

Nice big cage for my cockatiel BUT the latch on the cage door came sort of bent and twisted so it's hard to open and makes a loud noice when the latch pops up that scares my poor bird. I tried twisting and bending the metal in the opposite direction but it didn't work and I didn't want to break it. Kind of bummed but dismantling the ENTIRE cage and sending it back is waaaaay too much work. :-(

I really like this cage. I have two parakeets they seem to like the room this one has. I like that it has wheels, so it's easier to move around and the bar spacing

I really like this cage. I have two parakeets they seem to like the room this one has. I like that it has wheels, so it's easier to move around and the bar spacing seems adequate for parakeets. I did put this together on my own, however, if you have someone else to help you (especially second level) that would be a good idea.
