Bird cage cover

I have seen all myb9wn covers in the past. My birds eventually bite and make holes etc This time I decided to just buy one already made. The fit isn't custom

I have seen all myb9wn covers in the past. My birds eventually bite and make holes etc This time I decided to just buy one already made. The fit isn't custom but its not so bad it hurts. The fabric is my primary call out. If toubl8ve in a warm climate, or keep your home warm.. this is a pretty decent cover. It is somewhat sheer and I dont doubt your bird(s) can see out if you have a light on. On that note, this is not enough for colder temp and Im not sure if it would do a good job of preventing drafts. Overall it may be suitable for your situation or it may not. I remain on the fence as to if Im keeping or not... I wish the material were a better quality.

Too Thin

This is a great product although it could be a little thicker to keep your bird insulated and warm during cold seasons or night time.

People the size is right there. Yes It is pretty big, but it does the job. The material is pretty thin, but a low light will ensure that your bird can navigate the perches at night. I think this is important so the bird does not fall. Seems to work well. My cockatoo shuts up when the lights go out and sleeps well. I am going 13 hours now before I uncover the little guy.

Im so glad I got these covers for my 2 macaw cages. They are light and do a good job. I was at first worried that it would not darken the cage enough but it does. Its also lightweight and I can just toss it on top of my cage and bring the sides down. I also really like the flap in front.

Sleeping Better

Way too thin!

First off, others are not kidding when they say this cover is HUGE!!! Nothing that some clips and bungee cords couldn't fix. However. This cover is WAY too thin!!

First off, others are not kidding when they say this cover is HUGE!!! Nothing that some clips and bungee cords couldn't fix. However. This cover is WAY too thin!! Light filters right through without a problem making it very difficult for my macaw to rest at night. If you have your birds in an area at night time that has even just a small amount of light, this will not work. Better off going for the more expensive covers because this is a very good example of "you get what you pay for..."
