The hanging hook is way too small to fit any standard bird cage, making this stand basically useless out of the box. I now have to either buy extra hardware or return

The hanging hook is way too small to fit any standard bird cage, making this stand basically useless out of the box. I now have to either buy extra hardware or return it. I regret buying this and wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re ready to modify it.

CANT HANDLE WEIGHT OF SIZE GUIDLINES

I opened put together and kept as a way of putting the cage in a different room if I needed. Totally my fault, i did not try it out. It seemed sturdy and my cage

I opened put together and kept as a way of putting the cage in a different room if I needed. Totally my fault, i did not try it out. It seemed sturdy and my cage is simple. NOPE! Luckily I had it under my island in kichen first time. I’m not sure how much weight it can handle, but I’d guess a cage 4x as small. They need to get rid of the biggest size they say, it’s false. Try right away, if small enough it’s a sturdy, easy to put together pole and at a good height. I’m 5’5” and top of pole is about there or so. Puts the cage right at eye, shoulders. Easy to get on and off.
