Negligent Response From Chewy

I purchased this cage for more than $1000. The wrong cage, worth about half the price was delivered. I did not open the box because there was a picture of the cage

I purchased this cage for more than $1000. The wrong cage, worth about half the price was delivered. I did not open the box because there was a picture of the cage contained inside. Chewy agreed to a return, however, at that time, there was a FedEx problem. There was a lengthy delay that Chewy was aware of. I made numerous calls to Chewy. I asked, however, they were unwilling, for a me to return the cage through UPS. They also denied to refund my payment despite knowing I had paid approximately twice the value of the cage received. Ultimately, I worked through my credit card to have the money refunded. I do not recommend ordering from Chewy.

Great cages for parrots

I purchased 2 of these cages, one for my African Grey parrot and one for our Cockatoo. They are easy to clean and move around, both birds love them ! Great value

Crate is nice but door won’t fit

Assembly is simple. However one of the wires is in the way of the hole that supports the door. Will be contacting Cheeybto find out next steps

Well made, Big, easy to put together

Just what he needed something strong last cage he busted the bars. Big food cups with good locks, door has 2 locks as well. Will see if we have to break out the

Just what he needed something strong last cage he busted the bars. Big food cups with good locks, door has 2 locks as well. Will see if we have to break out the chains he usually can break out of any cage so we have to use locks and chains. I don’t think he’ll open this one.

Good quality, roomy, easy to clean.

Food and water cups are placed conveniently close. So, he can put easily his food in water before eating it. The tray is divided - a great idea for easy cleaning

Seems to be manufactured good - my umbrella cockatoo male was checking it from inside and outside. So far - it’s holding. We have it for a month. Very pleased with the price too.

Defected

Very spacious cage but shortly after purchase the bars started to fall off. I did contact chewy (provided pictures) and they did agree to replace the cage however

Very spacious cage but shortly after purchase the bars started to fall off. I did contact chewy (provided pictures) and they did agree to replace the cage however I had to return the entire cage first and they were not sure when I would receive the replacement. Where was I going to house my Macaw in the meantime? I was hoping just to switch out the defected section given the extremely large size, weight and the fact that changing a parrot’s cage (while waiting for the new one to arrive) can be extremely stressful on some parrots. I was hopeful something could have been worked out but unfortunately there were no other options available.

We got this cage for our rescue Macaw and we are very pleased with it. It came in very quickly, was easy to put together and it looks great. Took my husband one evening to do it without any help. Very user friendly as well. We are thinking of ordering the second one for the cockatoo, even though she doesn't need such a large cage. The metal perch is something the bird needs together used to, ours is warming up to it.

Pros: Perfect for our CAG. Plenty of room, easy to clean, rolls very smoothly, nice looking, no damage from shipping, packed very well. Highly recommend and would definitely buy again. Cons: I've put many cages together. This one has a few extra parts, a few holes did not line up. Psych yourself up for putting it together, lol. Worth it but not not enjoyable. Directions are better than many.
