Would I be able to hang the cage by the handle using some sort of stand?

The handle on this cage is intended for carrying the cage only it is not intended for hanging.

How many birds can fit comfortably?

What is the diameter of the perches?

Does the cage lift off of the base? I have a cage that does and it makes cleaning the base very easy.

The base can not be removed. This cage features a removable grille and pull-out tray for easy cleaning.

Unfortunately I had to downsize my girl's cage after a move. This one offers a better than average amount of space both vertically & horizontally. The entire bottom does have to be removed for cleaning which is easy enough to do but I'm concerned about how long the plastic can withstand frequent disassembling.

I bought this cage for my peachfaced lovebird. I haven't used it yet because we are away. However, it's a great size and perfect for him. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the bottom grate does not "pull out" as advertised. The only way to remove the grate is by dismantling the cage! Other reviewers also mentioned this, but I don't use the grate, so I bought the cage anyway! However, I think you should change your description of the cage, because it's not accurate.

Well built cage canaries like the ability to have more room to flit about. I like everything about it except that you can not take metal grate out with tray to clean making biweekly cleaning really annoying as I have to take birds out and disassemble to get metal grate out and clean. The plastic tray shape is awkward to put paper in as well. So unfortunately I would not buy this again but it is beautiful to look at.

This is the second of three Prevue cages we’ve recently ordered that arrived broken. The last one was a crack in the rim that we duct taped. This crack can’t be taped. Cage is useless. Chewy was very prompt about ordering a replacement, but this comes straight from the manufacturer and happened somewhere in shipping. Fingers crossed the next one doesn’t come damaged we need a second cage for our cockatiel and he’s VERY particular!

Thought I had made a good buy when I purchased another cage and stand. The time and effort needed to put it together, including nine zip ties to hold the frame secure

Thought I had made a good buy when I purchased another cage and stand. The time and effort needed to put it together, including nine zip ties to hold the frame secure was not worth it to me, if it were free. I received a total refund, along with an apology. Customer service suggested I look for something more substantial. I am so happy I took another chance. The new cage came within a few days. It took fifteen minutes for this Sr. Citizen to open and attach the bottom to the cage and set it down on a table. It was beautiful, and made of a thick sturdy steel frame.

Sturdy and a good fit for my Cocktail

Chewy has the best customer service. I purchased another cage from them and it was awful. It was so cheaply made that when I hung the cage the top of it bowed

Chewy has the best customer service. I purchased another cage from them and it was awful. It was so cheaply made that when I hung the cage the top of it bowed out and the wire was so thin I was afraid of my cocktail getting hurt. I did a review on line just talked about the cage and never asked for anything because chewy wasn’t the one who made the cage. Before you know it I got a email from customer service to give them a call out they were concer about my purchase and reimbursed me for the cage. Who does that now these days? All I know is they are great people and I Will continue my purchases with them.
