Do I need to assemble it by myself?

This cage does need to be assembled. The instructions are listed below. 1) Place the plastic base on a stable surface. 2) Open the cage body wire mesh and attach the bottom of the body to the plastic base. The main door of the cage facing the front, and the wire loops to attach the top facing outward. 3) Attach the cage top to the body assembly, using the wire hooks to position and secure the top into place. 4) Place any additional items, such as perches or feeding cups into position. Make sure that all latches, securing the top to the body and the body to the base, are in place and secure before use.

We have to hang our bird cage from the ceiling. Is there a way for this cage to be hung from the ceiling? Could we attach metal hooks to the top of it?

received damaged

cage inside box had no packing, large plastic tray for bottom broken at one of the corners, i can't believe you wouldn't put some paper or Styrofoam in this box,

Bad design

The cage is too tall and narrow. The small footprint results in toys, food, and perches stacked on top of each other, which means bird poop is dropping on whatever

The cage is too tall and narrow. The small footprint results in toys, food, and perches stacked on top of each other, which means bird poop is dropping on whatever is below. The cage cannot be thoroughly cleaned without removing the top of the cage from the base. This is a HUGE inconvenience. The food and water cups are too big for smaller birds like parakeets and lovebirds. My lovebird pulled the top (or hood) off the food cup within a few minutes. All the bars are horizontal, which makes it more difficult for the bird to climb and the owner to hang toys. The people who designed this cage must not own birds or they would see the flaws.

This cage is very spacious and provides adequate space for two birds easily. However, it is very hard to clean, and it is very difficult to reach the back of the cage from the only front entrance. That entrance is large, but it is very difficult to reach the back of the cage from that opening. The pull out drawer it’s a good idea, however, it is not deep enough, so pulling out the drawer with wire paper in the drawer can be very tricky if not impossible I would not buy this cage again, but it might be good for people with longer arms than mine .
