Mango loves her little hideaway! She’s a 1 1/2 yr old lovebird, she now goes back into her cage on her own. Loves going in her hut. Love being able to find all these goodies for my fur and feather families online! Especially now!
Very adorable hideaway BUT.....
on Nov 28, 2019
My husband hid the Hideaway toy because he didn’t want our parakeets having babies or laying eggs in it. So I don’t know whether or not my birds would’ve taken to this product. But it is adorable and one day I might find where he hid it and put it in the cage. LOL... but Chewy is the best company ever when it comes to customer service, prices, and fast shipping. They are superior.

A coconut is a great place for any animal thats small enough to fit in it. Used to buy them for my hamsters when I was young. Old school, I couldn't buy ready made and had to saw off an opening n dig out the coconut. This is so much easier.

Used for ferrets!

I hooked this inside my ferrets cage and they lift themselves by the ladder to get treats I sneak into the hide!
Perfect for gerbils!
on Sep 4, 2019
My two very active female gerbils are having a blast with this. I'm sure they'll chew through the cord suspending it eventually but the coconut shell seems like it will hold up to their destructive power for a while!
Too Small for Adult Rats
on Jun 24, 2019
Based on the reviews and answered questions, I purchased this for my two adult female rats. I had expected the shell to be large enough for at least one rat. It was only about six inches in diameter. The rats enjoyed shredding the ladder, which they accomplished in less than a day, but the shell is far too small for them to get into. I've put it on the floor of their cage. Perhaps they'll chew on it a bit before I throw it out. It might do for baby rats or finches.
I want another!

My birds LOVE this coconut house. They are constantly perching on the top and love getting inside when they feel a little insecure. They also love shredding at the coconut, but it’s held up perfectly. I’ve got two budgies so I’m considering buying another so they don’t have to squeeze in together !

I purchased one of this coconut for my birdies. Chico was first to discover it and staked his claim. Poor Coco wants to play in it too but Chico won't let her. Guess I'm going to have to buy another one for Coco. This won't be the first time I've had to buy another toy because Chico wouldn't share. However, I purchased another mirror and put it on the opposite side of the purch for Coco. Chico ran up and Down the purch running Coco off. Guess he figures he has a monopoly on the toys. ::::sigh::::

My dwarf hamster LOVES this! As soon as I put it in his tank, he hopped right in and started chewing on it! This great for a hide for a hamster/gerbil/rat/mice, just remove the metal clips it comes with and you’re good to go!
