Is the stand removable?

The stand is removable. However, we do not recommend modifying the cage in this manner; the cage has not been tested for durability and safety. Making alterations to the design of the cage could affect the structure and affect the way it functions. If you still wish to make modifications, please do so at your own discretion.

I love this cage. I bought it for my rescue pigeon that I found injured in my backyard. Unfortunately after healing, she is unable to . I needed a cage big enough that she could flap her wings inside. This cage fits the bill and I love the large door on the front so I can access the cage to clean it easily. The first cage came damaged, so chewy quickly sent me out another cage. You cannot be chewy for great customer service! Thank you!

Milo seems very happy in his new cage, it is very spacious, but the bars are definitely a downgrade from his last cage. I had to build something to put on top to prevent the cat from jumping up and potentially breaking the bars. It was fairly easy to put together but try to have another person present to help.

Serves me and my Cockatiel's needs

As described. Bars are a half inch in between. Gate closes by a metal latch that you pull up and down. The tray and bottom both pull out so they can be cleaned

As described. Bars are a half inch in between. Gate closes by a metal latch that you pull up and down. The tray and bottom both pull out so they can be cleaned. I like the size of the gate, which is one reason I made the purchase. The manufacturers photo is true to size pictured I think. I like that when I open it, the door does not just swing open. It only opens as much as I am willing to push it open. There is no spacing engineered so that it would be unsafe for my cockatiel. I think the cage part itself measures about an inch higher than what it says. The bars can be bent when pressed on with pressure but they held up well when putting up the perches and then when re-arranging them again. Comes with 2 typical long wood perches and two plastic cups that each has two compartments. The only thing I wish is that the wheels would lock. Though it never moved out from me when placing the items on the cage or when playing with my bird, taking her in and out. I think the value for the money is good.

Just ok

Both of the food/water cups came with one end busted off, probably because of how horribly with was packaged. The wiring on the cage was bent in several places,

Both of the food/water cups came with one end busted off, probably because of how horribly with was packaged. The wiring on the cage was bent in several places, but I was able get it put together despite that. A couple of the edges have some rust which is dangerous for birds, but luckily it is not on the inside portion of the cage. Honestly if it wasn’t such a pain to do so, I would probably return. Some added styrofoam padding could help immensely with the packaging but it was all just thrown in a box.
