What is the bar spacing? Can this cage be used for rats?

The wire spacing is 1 inch, rats may be able to slip through.
Could I use a 60watt ceramic heater in this without the bars melting? Need to keep my hedgehog warm!

A ceramic heater can be used with this cage. Be sure the heater isn't place directly on the bars.
Could this be used for a young ferret?

This cage is ideal for rabbits and guinea pigs. It is not suitable for ferrets.
I was wonder if the wheels can come off?

The wheels are not designed to be removed. They do have a locking mechanism to stay in place when needed.

Not that great

This cage looks beautiful and it provides lots of room for our guinea pig, but because of the metal "floor" being above the drop pan, everything gets kicked out onto our floor constantly - bedding, hay and poop. We're going to have to add a barrier around the bottom of the cage on the outside to prevent constant mess. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this item.

Bunny Condo

This is my third Prevue small pet condo, I have had the other two pet condos for quite a few years now and they are in perfect condition still. I recommend having help to put it together as it can get tricky to snap the parts together and secure them. Cleaning is super easy and the condo is safe. I have never had any issues. I have zip tied the front opening though to keep my beautiful bunnies safe from a possible fall. Overall I highly recommend!

Garbage. Absolute waste of money.

This cage seems great and simple. The bin “slides” underneath and I say that because it doesn’t. It’s super rough and 2 months later already broke. So now the bin doesn’t even attach. The metal grate on the bottom is bent and my bunny isn’t even heavy so now everything falls through the sides. The latch for the doors bend easily so if you’re not careful the animal can push the door open no problem. Just a huge mess and made so cheaply. I should have just went with wood.
