What is the bar spacing? Can this cage be used for rats?

The bar spacing is 1 inch wide and recommended for dwarf rabbits or guinea pigs.

I was wonder if the wheels can come off?

The wheels are not designed to be removed. They do have a locking mechanism to stay in place when needed.

Would this be big enough for 2 guinea pigs? And secondly would it hold the weight of 2 big piggies ( about 7.5 lbs ) ?

This cage could support the weight of 2 guinea pigs but is recommended for 1 guinea pig to be housed in.

Can you use this for a rabbit cage without using the wire mesh grate? I don't use them because they hurt rabbit's feet.

The floor grill is removable, however,without the grill the ramp can not be used.

Works great for quail!

I have 3 coturnix quail, and they have plenty of room in this cage. It is a lot larger than it appears in the stock website photo. Quail go up and down the ramp

I have 3 coturnix quail, and they have plenty of room in this cage. It is a lot larger than it appears in the stock website photo. Quail go up and down the ramp without hesitation. I bent the hooks on the ramp a little straighter so I could pull it off easier for cleaning. The wire mesh bottom is coated, hasn't caused any foot problems. The tray on the bottom fits in snugly - I made sure all the screws were tight on the frame. You have to put it together, but takes under 30 minutes. Picture shows quail on first day in cage. Since the photo, I've added a clear acrylic 10" sides to it (keep food, etc inside), enrichment and a gallon waterer.

If you have a rabbit I highly recommend this cage. The best part of this cage is the extremely large deep catch pan that covers the entire bottom of the cage & makes cleaning up a breeze.The cage is very spacious and the ramp and landing are a really nice touch. I have found this cage to be very nice for my 3 rabbits which each have their own & have been loving them. I actually returned my previous cages once I purchased one of these for my 3rd rabbit. I’m loving it and highly recommended it!

Good cage for guinea pig

The only problem we've had with the item thus far is that the underneath bin sometimes pops off the tracks when sliding it in. As long as you're careful and slow

Not that great

This cage looks beautiful and it provides lots of room for our guinea pig, but because of the metal "floor" being above the drop pan, everything gets kicked out

This cage looks beautiful and it provides lots of room for our guinea pig, but because of the metal "floor" being above the drop pan, everything gets kicked out onto our floor constantly - bedding, hay and poop. We're going to have to add a barrier around the bottom of the cage on the outside to prevent constant mess. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this item.

This is my third Prevue small pet condo, I have had the other two pet condos for quite a few years now and they are in perfect condition still. I recommend having help to put it together as it can get tricky to snap the parts together and secure them. Cleaning is super easy and the condo is safe. I have never had any issues. I have zip tied the front opening though to keep my beautiful bunnies safe from a possible fall. Overall I highly recommend!

Garbage. Absolute waste of money.

This cage seems great and simple. The bin “slides” underneath and I say that because it doesn’t. It’s super rough and 2 months later already broke. So now the bin doesn’t even attach. The metal grate on the bottom is bent and my bunny isn’t even heavy so now everything falls through the sides. The latch for the doors bend easily so if you’re not careful the animal can push the door open no problem. Just a huge mess and made so cheaply. I should have just went with wood.
