Are the skirts removable?

They are, They are held together with screws but not screwed in to the actual stand, if that makes sense

What's the length of the wood stand and can that be changed out for different material?

Seed/waste catcher area is helpful. Most of the bars are very thin and my bird would not use it until I attached tree branches to the skinny metal parts. A few zip ties and some apple wood branches solved the problem. Now she loves it.

I spent so much time looking for a perch for my sun conure and quaker. Reviews can be hard to trust when it seems like a good chunk of the negative ones might be the result of user error. It all came together easily, just following the instructions, The layout encourages my birds to move around, climb, and explore, especially as one works on growing his flight feathers clipped by his precious owner. It rolls easily on my hardwood floors and offered plenty of space for hanging toys. My only hang up is where the bowls are located. At the bottom of the gym, both are super susceptible to droppings, but we haven't actually had an issue yet so maybe it's all lined up right. Perfect size for a conure and quaker to occupy at the same time without stepping on each other's toes.

I love it but my young conure is still undecided.

Parrot play station

After my African Grey decided, this new addition wasn't going to "get" him, he actually spends a lot of time on this play station. However, putting the skirt on

After my African Grey decided, this new addition wasn't going to "get" him, he actually spends a lot of time on this play station. However, putting the skirt on this play station was actually quite a chore, and the design has his food and water dishes below where he plays, thus adding poop to his dishes. The designer should have taken this into consideration.
