mechanically defective

Hard as I tried, the connection brackets simply would not hold the two pieces of this product in place. They would rotate and slip, and the whole thing would shift

Hard as I tried, the connection brackets simply would not hold the two pieces of this product in place. They would rotate and slip, and the whole thing would shift and fall. It was 100% unsafe for my cat and I am surprised it is offered for sale on this pet-friendly site. Looking carefully at the reviews I see that the positive reviews don't use the same bracket. Returning with a request that Chewy review the safety of this product.

Finally!!!

I've been looking for a real hammock, not the kind that is flat and hard, for one of my kitties for five years. I had a Ragdoll who's now passed over the bridge, but loved his so much that we never parted wit it, and is now being used by my eight-year-old Ragdoll. My newest Ragdoll, Kelsey five years-old, had no hammock and just hated the ones that had suction cups or could only sit on (too hard to really sleep well). The hammocks are at two windows where we have many bird feeders and it takes up much of thier time. I never thought I'd find one, and finally after five years, Chewy had it!!! Thank you for making my life a little better!!!

a hard pass

This was a little difficult to assemble with just one person but I managed to get it together. It was super easy to install in the window and seemed really sturdy

This was a little difficult to assemble with just one person but I managed to get it together. It was super easy to install in the window and seemed really sturdy. I left it there about a week and even put my cats on it. They all rejected it and preferred to lay in the windowsill because: cats. I'm going to donate it because my beasties are obviously jerks.

Difficult set up

I had to return this item. The mechanism to attach the base to the perch was impossible to connect. It kept slipping out and falling. Would not recommend.

Love the idea and I feel it is really well made. Easy to assemble and looks good in my window. I have two large adult rescue cats who absolutely hate it. I am sure that if a cat gets used to this when they are young, it would be an easier sell to them. I won't return it as it is too much of a hassls. Bummer it didn't work out for my cats.

Does not fit every window

Product is great but brackets do not fit on any of my windows. Unfortunately I have to return it.
