Prevue Pet Products Wrought Iron Small & Medium Birds Flight Cage, Black Hammertone

From my experience, there were many difficulties in assembling this cage. This was my first time putting together a bird cage this large and multiple people (2-3) definitely were needed here; it did state in the instructions that 2 people are needed. The instructions refer to the pieces as numbered/labeled and the first page does have a “parts” section showing the numbered pieces, however, the pieces we received did not have any labels directly on them; if labels were on the pieces this may have made the process easier. Some of the holes where we needed to put the screws in had extra metal in them not allowing us to be able to screw the pieces together. For these pieces, we had to try using a hammer then eventually after hammering it a bit, we were able to screw them in. However, for a more difficult piece, the piece was not long enough or possibly bent to the point where we couldn’t align it in the correct area. Some modifications such as trying to “re-bend” it/hammer it in were needed for us to assemble the cage. This was definitely scary since we were unsure if we would even be able to get the cage to work at all. My review is mainly based on the difficult process it took for us to assemble it, however, the 2 stars were given due to how the cage looks. The cage looks great and the concept is nice. I did notice a small, sharp piece of metal when assembling it; however, I will further examine the finished cage before putting my birds in it. Hopefully it will last for a while as the cage is a nice size. If there wasn’t problems with the pieces we received and difficulties assembling it, I may have considered purchasing another one in the future (if it works well for my birds) and the rating I gave likely would’ve been better. I may potentially update my review, if needed
