I guess I ought to have paid more attention to the detailed description of this item, as, when it arrived, I was surprised that it was no bigger than a box of safety matches! It is well made and looks exactly like the web picture, but it is sized just for standing on a very small shelf or table - not to hang on a door and be visible there which is what I had wanted to do. I kept it, though, because I really like the sentiment.
