How do I measure the right size for an anxiety vest??

To get the most accurate size anxiety vest for your pet, measure the girth of their chest, around the widest part of your dog's torso right behind the front legs, with a cloth tape measure. Pull the cloth tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a cloth tape measure, you can use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. If your dog is in between sizes, we recommend that you choose the larger size.

My dog is part pit so she is stout (chubby). I had to buy a larger size. I hemmed it and it works just fine!!!

Difficult to pick correct size

I had measured my dog prior to buying because of his shape-it was definitely too small in some areas but fit in other areas so even if I got a larger size, it wouldn’t

I upsized to a medium and it fits her! She’s a 6 pound Chihuahua and 16 inches around her breast. A size small would have been too small, as I have found to be true with all my standard sized Chis with these types of garments. Size charts typically recommend too small. I will not know if this calms her during noises and walking near loud vehicles, but that will depend on her psyche and not the vest. She is comfortable with it on, and she happily wore it and played in the back yard on her first wear. The fabric is sturdy and well made.

Nope not working

Got a stress vest for my dog that has a fairly large chest cavity, ordered it in 2xl and wouldn't even fit my medium size dog and had NOOOO stretch to it, really

Way too small

This "XXL" wouldn't even get past my shepherds head. She's 115 lbs, but with that a 2XL should've fit based on the measurements given.
