Good product but not accurately described

This product is not a pellet, as advertised by chewy. It is a powdered supplement, which makes it harder to get the horses to eat it, but it is still a good product

This product is not a pellet, as advertised by chewy. It is a powdered supplement, which makes it harder to get the horses to eat it, but it is still a good product. I contacted the Pro-elite company directly to confirm and they do not make this product in a pelleted form, only powdered.

My horse won't eat it

I bought this just to increase my senior mare's protein, knowing that the vitamin and mineral content is limited. She refuses her food with any of this in it.

Worth a Try

I started using this product on June 15th. I have a 39 year old halflinger mare. She had been sluggish and starting to show her age. After being on this product for almost a month 3 times a week in Her night feed only. I’ve noticed a marked difference in her energy level, she was sluggish and low energy. She is definitely showing signs of more bounce in her step and has even returned to being a therapy horse doing ground work only. The product has a nice smell and is easy to use. I just sprinkle it on her soaked feed and she gobbles it down. *I do not use it every day as the protein level is a bit high for my old girl.*

Picky Eater Approved

My Arabian/Paint with Cushing's and EMS is the pickiest eater ever and he likes this one! I have two other products I've tried, they sit on the shelf minus one

My Arabian/Paint with Cushing's and EMS is the pickiest eater ever and he likes this one! I have two other products I've tried, they sit on the shelf minus one serving so, I was quite relieved to find a vitamin/mineral supplement that he would eat. I recently had to switch him to a forage based diet and that left him lacking a lot of essential nutrients. This product takes care of that, especially since he will eat it, just simply add to a cup of alfalfa pellets and all your corners are covered. Really like this product, takes all the worry out of the equation.....and it smells delicious!

Wish it was tastier!

2 out of our 3 horses will not willingly eat this either due to yeasty smell or taste! We did try to disguise the taste in their flax seed mash that they love unsuccessfully

2 out of our 3 horses will not willingly eat this either due to yeasty smell or taste! We did try to disguise the taste in their flax seed mash that they love unsuccessfully. This is a shame because the ingredients are great, especially the yeast that can help repel the multitude of bugs this Summer! The vitamins also would have been helpful for these two 20 year olds as seniors don’t always absorb nutrients as well. Of course, the rather rotund Icelandic was good with it and seems to be a bit less bothered by the insects. Perhaps in sweet feed the taste would be camouflaged but am afraid the Icey would be getting all of that too!

ProElite Elements Is a Keeper

I chose the ProElite Elements nutritional supplement for Dusty, our 22 year old Palomino. He was a rescue that had a bad case of asthma. We have been nursing him back to health with the aid of hoof and omega-3 supplements along with a good weight-building senior feed. We noticed that he was licking the ground a bit. So we decided to get him a salt lick and supplement that contained essential elements ( ProElite Elements). He is a very picky eater, but seems to like the vanilla flavor. I like that it is soy-free, so it’s easy on his sensitive stomach. Two scoops a day and he’s good to go. Although he’s only been on it for a few weeks, he has stopped licking the ground and seems to have more energy. I gave this brand five stars, because so far it’s doing exactly what it should be doing. It is a good value for the price, and we intend on keeping our horse on it.

U was skeptical at first but when i opened this I knew it would work. It's a fine granule/powder so it's easy to mix in with feed. It also smells really good. There is molasses in it which makes it palatable and my guys really like molasses. I like being able to add this to their feed and know that they are getting their vitamins and minerals.

Great vitamin/mineral supplement

I have a super easy-keeper gelding that only gets chopped hay and a small scoop of hay pellets just to keep him occupied and happy, and make him think he's getting just as much food as my other horses. I tried once giving him a ration balancer, but the high protein levels found in them fried his brain and made him very aggressive. The ProElite Elements supplement gives me piece of mind that he's getting all of his necessary vitamins and minerals, without the risk of affecting his temperament.
