My dog absolutely loves these toys and so do I. Not only are they super cute, but the company's mission is very admirable to help bees and the planet. There are
My dog absolutely loves these toys and so do I. Not only are they super cute, but the company's mission is very admirable to help bees and the planet. There are a few drawbacks, however. The first is that the hive kong is a bit large. My dog is 12 pounds and she has trouble carrying it in her mouth. I wish they had a mini size option for smaller dogs and puppies. The other issue is that treats can get stuck in the wand and they are very hard to get out. It would be nice if there were some easy way to remove stuck treats. Finally my only other gripe is that these treats are made with honey which is obviously quite sugary and may not be good for dogs with tooth decay. Even the bag says you should only feed a few to your dog. It would be nice if they were a bit lighter on the honey and maybe more health-focused. However my dog really loves these treats and the kong is perfect for teaching a dog to fetch. It is her new favorite toy.
