Is this litter safe to flush and safe for septic systems?

Answer by ChewySep 18, 2020
Puppy Go Potty Natural Paper Fiber Dog Litter can be flushable in well-maintained septic systems. It is important to only flush only 1 small scoop of litter at a time. Never put large amounts of litter in the toilet. Please check with your local and state regulations before flushing into a public or septic system.

My puppy is almost a year old and has strictly used pee pads, how well do you think she would adapt to the litter?

Answer by ChewyDec 14, 2020
The litter contains natural pheromone attractant which makes training easy. When planning to introduce your puppy to their new system, arrange a few days to spend time at home with her. This will allow you to begin the process and aid your puppy in learning her new routine.

what if your puppy tries to eat it

Answer by ChewyNov 01, 2020
It is not recommended to allow your pet to eat this litter. We encourage you to monitor your pet while potty training to ensure that it is not ingested.

My puppies are 3.5 weeks old and starting to potty train. Dont like peepads as they become a toy for them. If puppies chew on this litter, is it safe?

Answer by ChewyJan 31, 2021
This litter is made from large paper nuggets. It includes no dyes, inks or added fragrances. It is not recommended to allow your pet to eat this litter and if ingested we suggest speaking to your veterinarian.

When I brought my puppy home from the breeder, she was already accustomed to using pee pads. I had already purchased a dog litter box and a bag of this litter, intending to train her over to the litter box later. However, where I had placed the litter box with this litter was accessible to her, and she began using it, on her own! I never said one word or made one motion to her about the litter and box. She is so dedicated to using this arrangement that she will run all the way upstairs to where she knows I keep a box for her in the master bathroom. My biggest problem now is keeping the cats out of her litter box as they seem to like this litter as well. At least it is absorbent enough and controls odors for cats, too !

Nothing

It was like hard round stirfoam and it was hard like chalk he was trying to eat it. If I was a dog I wouldn't use it either it would be hard on their but.

We should have watched her after trying this litter. Our shorkie must have eaten a bunch overnight because she left several piles of vomit for us by morning. She vomited a bit more during the day. She just received some immunizations a few days before. The vet said it was highly unlikely to be from the immunizations at this point. The texture of the messes looked like they could be from the litter. I purchased in hopes of finding something that she was less likely to kick out of the box. We usually have dog litter scattered all over our mudroom. So frustrating. But better that then what she went through today! Watch your dogs closely after giving them this litter!

I was litter training a litter for their new homes. Was using other pellets and puppies were using the box. Mixed these in and not 1 in 7 puppies continues to use the box. Switched back to other litter and they are using again. Now what to do with these three bags I’ll never use.

My puppy’s ate it

Only puppy litter that I’ve used where the minute it was put in the litter pan, my puppies began eating it like it was food. Dumped it within 5 minutes!

clean looking

This didn't work for us because my puppy kept trying to eat the little balls. I gave it to a rescue.

didn't work well for my pup

Even though the breeder suggested I get this my pup didn't like it. Prefers the walnut cat litter (which I also got from Chewy).

Good quality

These don’t get dragged all over by my dogs. I would buy them again.
