Pura Deodorizing Smart Fragrance Diffuser Starter Set, Water Lily & Juicy Acai

The diffuser works fine, and once I ordered better scents, I guess it’s better, but the two in the package were not good. Kind of cleaning fluid / very obvious air freshener smells. I was looking for more subtle. I found a vanilla and peony that are better, but a little goes a long way. Don’t leave it on more than an hour. I don’t think this was really worth the money for what it is. I’d initially considered getting two, and I’m glad I didn’t. One is plenty for a 1000 sq ft apartment.

This is a very well made diffuser set that has a lot of positive features. It is labeled cruelty-free (not tested on animals) and the company indicates they pay fair wages and do not include unsafe chemicals in the fragrances.This is important to me as a consumer and sets this brand apart from others that are not labeled as cruelty-free and pet-safe. This set comes with two fragrances, "juicy acai" and "water lily". Both can be installed at the same time. The acai is a nice, fairly neutral scent (similar to apple-scented/fall-themed fragrances). The lily fragrance was too floral for me, but I like that the pura website has many options for other fragrances to use with this diffuser. The diffuser was fairly easy to set up, although the app did not work the first time I tried so I had to delete and reload it. Once it was installed, setup was very easy, and I am not someone who uses a lot of smart products. There are many options for scheduling when and how much fragrance is emitted. In terms of cons, the scent was a bit too strong for me even at its lowest setting. I'm sensitive to scents and was hopeful that this set would be a way to have scent in my home to mask pet odors but not be overpowering. I will continue to try limiting how often fragrance is emitted to find an amount of scent that is enjoyable. I would also prefer more transparency and specifics from the brand about their ingredients and other claims. Finally, although the fragrances are long-lasting (up to 120 hours per vial), this diffuser is more costly than others. I would certainly recommend it for others who like a stronger scent and want a cruelty-free diffuser set with many fragrance options.

The Pura diffuser is very user friendly, setting it up via the app was easy to follow. It walks you through the steps with pictures so you can ensure your diffuser is working properly. What I loved most is I literally set it up, create a schedule and forget about it. It’s on your schedule whether that is all day long or certain days throughout the week as well as times. It’s safe for pets, ours is in the room with the cat box and there are no more cat odors!
