Smell like bleach

I have buying these for a couple of years, but this last batch smells like bleach. I don’t let my dog swallow this after seeing how they can cause intestinal blockage,

Smaller than advertised

In the bag I received, almost all of them are actually only 7 inches, not 8. Also, the hide is very thin. I doubt these will last long given how thin they are.
