I have been using this for my sister-in-law's 4 horses for about a year. Love the larger size, natural ingredients, application ease, scent and noticed that it has helped deter the onset of thrush on 2 of her horses that seem prone to having this issue. I pack a small piece of cotton with manuka honey into the crevice of their heel bulbs then cover it with Pure Sole and add Pure Sole to their bar walls and central groove of the frog. I notice an improvement within a week and have continued to use as maintenance during winter and spring (wet, moist conditions) on all 4. Highly recommend!

As someone who works in Vet Med I’m always told to grab thrush buster or koppertox as a first line of treatment for thrush. After a very long uphill battle with my mares case of thrush I was ready to give up. As a last ditch effort I tried the Pure Sole Hoof Mud and I’ll never go back to mainstream Thrush products. Within a week her thrush was gone. The affected and dead tissue is dried up and peeling off, and underneath there is healthy frog again. Her soles are even hardening!! If you're skeptical to try it, do it. You won’t regret it.

I love the texture of this, the smell and ease of use. I have a gelding recovering from laminitis, thin soles and also thrush from constant booting. He's been in boots and felt pads and could not go barefoot even though we have good connectivity but a huge flare at the toe. He has very flat soles. My 1st use I immediately rebooted, and rechecked in 2 days. The product stayed in place and dried the thrushy frog out. So I reapplied, replaced boots and rechecked in 2 days. This time the boots needed repair so I decided to let his feet air out, reapplied the product and went to work on the boots. I was surprised to see him actually able to walk barefoot. I feel it's resolving the trush, which added to his tender feet. This isn't a quick fix to laminitis but a tool in getting your horses on the final road to recovery. Proper diet, correct barefoot trimming and time. Support products like these are worth trying. I am very happy and will order again.

I’ve used this for thrush on a couple of occasions and within one application the thrush is completely gone most recently. I’ve used it with a horse that had a wound that was coming out of having proud flesh I used a colloidal silver product to get rid of the proud flesh, then switched over to this product on the wound it worked amazing.

I've been buying these hoof products for year and am so glad Chewy is carrying them. Now I can get all my products - dogs, cats, and horses, at one place. Good move Chewy as these are the best hoof products on the market. Not only do they work, but I feel good using them since they are safe for my horses and for me. So many hoof products contain toxic ingredients, but not Pure Sole. Great company.
