cat will not eat it

My cat loves the single ingredient purebite mixers, but for some reason does not care for these soups. he never takes more than a bite or 2, even if he seems hungry

A life saver!

One of my cats has end stage kidney failure and is also in heart failure. This means that he desperately needs extra fluids but we can't give him SQ fluids because

One of my cats has end stage kidney failure and is also in heart failure. This means that he desperately needs extra fluids but we can't give him SQ fluids because they will result in death from the heart disease. His heart failure means that he must take diuretics which further destroy his already damaged kidneys. His only chance is to orally take in significantly more fluid than the average cat needs and these particular broths have encouraged him to do exactly that. He struggles to eat some of the chunks of fish in these broths but he will lick everything dry. He will easily drink 2-3 packs of these each day which is a huge win for him and us. The only problem is that these really are too expensive for the amount you get. My cats favorite flavors are the tuna & shrimp and tuna & salmon. He gets less excited about the chicken breast and wild tuna packs (still eats them but more slowly and less throughout the day). Another bonus is that the fish flavors are chicken free. We have a cat that has a sensitivity to chicken in our home and it is nice to be able to leave the fish flavors out without worry when we leave the house.
