I appreciate the natural ingredients, but these smell like really bad fish food. They also kind of break apart and leave you with crumbs. No one wants smelly fish food crumbs all over. They also seem to dissolve in my dogs mouth (like freeze dried ice cream) and don't seem very satisfying to her. I definitely prefer treats with a crunch or gummy texture...that don't smell so bad.
Great Puppy Trainers

I ordered these prior to getting my golden mutt and he loves these! (He’s also very food motivated in general— haven’t found anything he doesn’t like lol) They’re lean, easy to grab, and I appreciate the simple ingredient. The bottom of the bag is crumbly, but that’s to be expected since they’re freeze dried. Boba loves lamb!
Consistency of cardboard
on Aug 16, 2021
These were a complete fail for our dog. They have a dry, papery consistency, like little chunks of cardboard. They are hard to chew and swallow. Our dog would gnaw on it, spit it out, maybe gnaw on it again, but was not excited at all about eating them. For training treats you want something that the dog is pumped about eating and chomps right down. These don't do the trick because she sits there puzzling over whether this is even food, rather than staying focused on the training exercise. Maybe a bigger dog would wolf these right down without really needing to chew, but our 13-lb Mini Aussie puppy found them pretty rough to choke down.
Best dried treats on the market

Natural ingredients. Small bite size (hard to find /air dried). They don’t stink =no begging. **My dog LOVES these better than any air dried treats on the market.

Great for training

These small bite size treats are great for training and reinforcing good behavior. My dog loves them and they are small bits that keep you from over-treating.
Perfect training size!

I am a huge fan of all the freeze dried treats this brand offers that we have tried so far. These liver treats are the perfect training size and saves me the time of cutting them into smaller pieces like I have had to do with larger sizes of liver treats in the past. My dog is also obsessed with them!

I agree with the other reviews that the sizing is off based on what's described - the description states each bag contains on average 250 treats, but ours only had about half that! The sizing is much larger than pictured. I had also received this product in a pup box and loved the size, but it is much larger ordering from chewy. I also ordered the regular size lamb liver treats (not minis) and didn't notice much of a difference in the size of treats between the two bags. Perhaps there's been a packaging mix-up?
Fortunately, our pup is now about 30 lbs and I'm comfortable giving him the larger treats, and he LOVES them. We save them specifically for when we need really high value rewards.
Dogs love them

My dogs can not get enough of these treats. They absolutely love them.

Although these bites are bigger than the ones I got in my PupBox, I still love using them to train. They are easy to break apart and fit in a treat pouch. I also don't need to worry about the calories since they are minimal per bite. The picture on the sight is deceiving because the bites aren't actually that small but are bigger and they weren't all cubes.
