PureBites® freeze dried products are not cooked. The nutritional value and palatability of raw food is preserved with our unique freeze drying process. The exceptions to this are Cheddar cheese and Shrimp. PureBites® Chicken Jerky is dried in ovens using the latest technology where heat is gently applied. The resulting whole tender jerky provides a taste dogs love. PureBites® Mixers are made using a gentle cooking technique whereby our treats are sterilized in water and our trays are sealed right away locking in the wholesome freshness of pure meat ingredients without adding any preservatives.

PureBites® products are sourced and made in the USA. The exceptions are: PureBites® Lamb is sourced from New Zealand where some of the highest quality lamb is sourced. PureBites® Lamb is then freeze dried in the USA. All PureBites® Fish & Seafood Products are sourced in the wild from the Ocean and then Freeze Dried in the USA. PureBites® shrimp is Freeze Dried in India or the USA. PureBites® Chicken Jerky is sourced in the USA with USDA Inspected Chicken Breast. We gently dry our chicken jerky in Canada. PureBites® Mixers are sourced in the wild from the Ocean and made in Thailand where most high quality human & pet canned seafood comes from.

An expiration date is stamped on all PureBites® products as an additional quality step. We recommend that PureBites® Freeze Dried & Chicken Jerky treats be stored in a cool / dry place at room temperature and that our re - sealable bags be sealed after each use. Once PureBites® Chicken Jerky & Freeze Dried treats have been exposed to moisture or water, our shelf life has been compromised. Any unused portion of PureBites® Mixers should be refrigerated.
