Feeding Instructions

+1 cup for each 13lbs+. Each Kitten is different, so optimal feeding amounts vary with age, size, activity level, breed or environment. Pregnant or Nursing mothers may consume 2-3 times the recommended daily amount.
When transitioning to Pureluxe Elite Nutrition do so over a period of 5-7 days, mixing an increasing amount of new food with old food each day: Start with 75% old food mixed with 25% new food for approximately three days. Then mix 50% old with 50% and so on until Pureluxe is 100%. Try to avoid too many treats during this time frame.

Goodbye Stinky Kitten Farts!!!

This was my kitten's first time switching to a different food. Kittens have such sensitive stomachs and I honestly was prepared for the worst. She transitioned foods so well to this one. So well that there's no stinky surprises in the litter box or farts that make you want to evacuate the room. Those probiotics and probiotics are really working overtime in this kibble! We had tummy issues on the previous food, but those have all cleared up since switching! Her coat is also starting to fluff up more and has become softer and shinier thanks to the omega 3's. She was spayed awhile back and the areas that were shaved are growing in much better than before. I also really appreciate just how tiny the pieces of kibble are! It makes it perfect for younger kittens just starting to eating kibble in their diets. I think we will be sticking with this one until it's time to transition to adult food. It's a literal breath of fresh air to not have to deal with a stinky kitten with tummy troubles!

I got this food for my two young cats I put it in their free-feed tower and noticed it had a nice aroma as I filled the feeder and the small kibble size was especially nice to use. As usual James (1-year-old) and Thomas (9-mo-old), were right there checking out what I was putting in their feeder and when I finished filling it they were instantly checking it out and didn't hesitate at all to dig in. They loved it and didn't eat as much of their wet food preferring to eat the Pureluxe. Bottomline, James and Thomas are happy cats and love eating their Pureluxe.

The size and shape of the kibble was perfect for my kitten - and apparently the taste was delicious as he was very interested in getting more - frequently! The aroma was relatively appetizing as well - for a pet food!

Unfortunately, my cat didn’t take to this food at all. I was hopeful given the quality ingredients like chicken, chickpeas, and salmon, but she refused to eat it after a few tries. The formula looks great on paper, but it just didn’t work for my picky eater. May work better for others, but not a hit in our home.
