100 lbs + 3.5 cups + 1/4 cup per 10 lbs of body weight Each dog is different, so optimal feeding amounts vary with age, size, activity level, breed or environment. Puppies/Pregnant/Nursing Mothers may require up 2-3 times more food than an Adult. Divide total recommended feeding amount per day into number of times you feed your dog. If loose stools occur, first try to reduce quantity fed to dog and/or avoid feeding other foods until stool becomes firm.
When transitioning to Pureluxe Elite Nutrition do so over a period of 5-7 days, mixing an increasing amount of new food with old food each day: Start with 75% old food mixed with 25% new food for approximately three days. Then mix 50% old with 50% and so on until Pureluxe is 100%. Try to avoid too many treats during this time frame.

However, I want to make sure she eats a balanced diet, so I try to get her to eat at least some kibble with most meals. I've tried lots of brands and flavors, and this kibble is her favorite by far. It smells better to me than other kibbles, too. The small size of the kibbles is good for a smaller dog like mine, too.

While my Sadie devoured this dog food, I’m still skeptical about its true nutritional value. The website boasts “pure nutrition,” but I’m having a hard time believing what’s so nutritious. It promotes a low-glycemic profile, yet I still calculated a 36% carb content (which isn’t listed on the label). The lentils, chickpeas, and peas may seem healthy, but they’re still carbs. And the added nutrients and vitamins are great, but doesn’t the high heat processing of dry dog food obliterate these nutrients, there by making them invaluable? I appreciate that this dog food is trying to show its transparency by promoting its “Complete Transparency” reports, however my product code did not work. And some of the websites FAQs are dated and vague. So yes, the name and packaging are “Luxe,” but what about the product?

Although they still seem to prefer their old food over the Purluxe I still feel that it is a good nutritious decent choice. I felt that the Purluxe food smelled good and was surprised by their choice. I would definitely give it a try if you want a decent nutritious food for your dog(s).

Truth be told my 2 furry kids ate raw as youngsters and now in their dotage they are getting lightly cooked raw. When we travel trying to manage frozen/thawed food is a nightmare and time consuming. I searched for a high quality kibble and this brand fit the bill. My kids transition into and out of it seamlessly. They Love the taste and their poop never changes quality. I am delighted to have found a product that meets my nutrition standards and makes car travel easy. If I runout of raw I also have a back-up on hand. It's a life saver.

The pieces are round and pretty flat, which makes them easy to eat for a variety of dog sizes. The bag is resealable, which I really appreciate.

My 2 terrier dogs needed a change in their dog food. After reviewing many different dog foods I decided to try PURELUXE ELITE GRAIN-FREE SALMON & SWEET POTATO dry dog food. I chose it because of the quality of ingredients. The dogs loved the taste! And after a few weeks I noticed my dogs weren’t scratching as much as they used to. So I am happy with this new dog food, and more importantly, my dogs love it!

Pure luxe dog food made with salmon and sweet potatoes has many great qualities. It is made in the USA , has salmon listed as the first ingredient, and is good for all breeds and sizes. I have a 13 year old German shepherd who is very picky and she liked this food. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there is a seal on the bag that actually works and keeps it closed. It is plastic Velcro and so easy to use. Finally someone has come up with workable closure. I would definitely recommend this product

They seem to like this better than their existing food that’s way more expensive! Did a taste test compared to 2 other foods they like and this won. And I like that
