100 lbs + 3.5 cups + 1/4 cup per 10 lbs of body weight Each dog is different, so optimal feeding amounts vary with age, size, activity level, breed or environment. Puppies/Pregnant/Nursing Mothers may require up 2-3 times more food than an Adult. Divide total recommended feeding amount per day into number of times you feed your dog. If loose stools occur, first try to reduce quantity fed to dog and/or avoid feeding other foods until stool becomes firm.
When transitioning to Pureluxe Elite Nutrition do so over a period of 5-7 days, mixing an increasing amount of new food with old food each day: Start with 75% old food mixed with 25% new food for approximately three days. Then mix 50% old with 50% and so on until Pureluxe is 100%. Try to avoid too many treats during this time frame.

Our dog loves this PureLuxe Healthy Weight dog food. Just as the description explains, it's made with turkey, salmon and lentils. Those are the top ingredients on the ingredient list along with green and yellow peas and chickpeas. The food is also grain-free and gluten-free with an emphasis on supporting skin health, digestive health, joint health, energy and healthy weight. The package provided easy to follow feeding instructions based on your dog's weight, as well as transition recommendations to move them from their previous food to this one. Our dog transitioned with no problems. Many times he's seemed more hungry on weight management or healthy weight foods but this didn't haapen on this one. He still eats the same amount of food (2-3 cups/day) but seems more satisfied with it. The kibble is small round pieces that work fine for him since he's a big dog (~55 pounds), but I imagine they would also be good for smaller dogs too. We also didn't notice any substantial change to his bowel movements, which was good as sometimes when he changes food he gets very loose stools, but not this time. Overall, we're really happy with the food!

We recently switched to Pureluxe Elite Nutrition Healthy Weight Grain-Free Turkey, Salmon & Lentils Dry Dog Food, and it’s been a hit with our pups! Right away, we noticed the kibble pieces are slightly larger than the mini-sized ones we used to buy, but even our smallest dog (just 11 lbs) has had no trouble chewing or enjoying them. That was a pleasant surprise! What really stood out to us is how neutral the smell is—nothing overwhelming or artificial-smelling, which makes me believe it’s truly the taste that our dogs are responding to and enjoying. Mealtime has become a little more exciting for them since we made the switch. We also appreciate the thoughtful ingredient list, especially since we’re always on the lookout for food that supports healthy weight management without compromising on quality. The blend of turkey, salmon, and lentils seems to work well for our dogs’ digestion and energy levels. And just a small thing, but we absolutely love the design of the packaging! It’s sleek, modern, and looks great on our pantry shelf—not something you usually say about dog food bags. So impressed with what is NOT in this dog food. It's 100% Grain-Free Absolutely NO corn, soy, wheat, dairy, fillers, by-products, artificial colors or preservatives. Our older girl needs to be on a calorie restricted diet and I really think this has already helped her. When we received it, both dogs gobbled right into it. I have never seen them excited about a dry dog food, so it must taste good to them. I am also happy that this product is made in the USA. Price point is a little high for the amount you get, but I will pay for what my dogs need. Will buy the product again.

They were happy to cronch Pure Lux down without any additional stuff on top. They finished this food right out of the bag! In fact I used it as a treat.

The dogs and cat immediately mobbed the bag to start begging for a bite, so I took that as a good sign that they'd consider it appetizing. :) The nutritional panel looks great. Deboned turkey is the first ingredient with turkey meal following, meaning that meat is really truly the predominant ingredient. Pea, chickpea, and lentils add protein and fiber, and vegetables and supplements and vitamins make up the rest. Would bring home and feed again!

The benefits are so efficient it's above the standards on most common labels. My dog is very picky and has a lot of food allergies, however this product has fulfilled its promise. She gets a tablespoon of soft food to top her kibble for dinner. That was all it took. She kept goi g back to her bowl for more Pureluxe kibble! It states it contains fatty acids, prebiotic & active probiotics, glucosamine, chondroitin. I'll be adding a little at a time to her old food not to upset her tummy.

I kept a friend's dog one weekend and they for got to send food so their German Short-Haired Pointer got to enjoy it as well. Definitely five stars from both dogs and me!
