Feeding Instructions

+1 cup for every 13 lbs. Each Cat is different, so optimal feeding amounts vary with age, size, activity level, breed or environment. Pregnant or Nursing mothers may consume 2-3 times the recommended daily amount.
When transitioning to Pureluxe Elite Nutrition do so over a period of 5-7 days, mixing an increasing amount of new food with old food each day: Start with 75% old food mixed with 25% new food for approximately three days. Then mix 50% old with 50% and so on until Pureluxe is 100%. Try to avoid too many treats during this time frame.

The cat food pieces are all the same color. Each little morsel is brown in color. There is really no smell that I can notice. Each piece of food is very tiny in size and hard. This makes it a bit difficult for my flat faced kitty to get the last pieces out of bowl. My cats switched to this food without a problem. In the few weeks, I didn’t notice any changes in their fur, etc.

My youngest has been a a pain when it comes to getting her to eat. So picky despite being raised being fed different brands, flavors, and textures. I’ve tried countless dry and wet options. So far - she is eating this! An absolute win in my book. It’s the first food I’ve seen actually eaten on a regular basis. I’ve specifically been trying to mix in hairball control foods (because she’s a long hair) and she won’t eat them. This food is formulated for long hair cats so it has all the benefits I need in a single food and she’s actually eating it! Wins all around so far!

After a few days of sniffing and sampling, though, they absolutely fell in love with it. Now they run to their bowls when they hear the bag open. Their coats are looking shinier, and I haven’t noticed less shedding and fewer hairballs, which would be a huge bonus. I’m pretty sure I read this can happen. Fewer hairballs would be a dream. I also appreciate that it’s grain-free and made with quality ingredients like chicken and salmon. Definitely a win in our house — we’ll be ordering this again!

The kibble size is extremely tiny, but she likes it. She has not thrown up any hair balls since she has been eating this new food. I hope it can control the shedding too.

It really is a complete balanced food for my senior kitty!

It gives her the satisfaction of having some variety besides her canned food.
