I am reluctant to buy this again, as this is now the second time that my pup has had seizures after eating this a few times. I though it was just a coincidence before, but after two different bags coincidentally resulted in the same response, I must take precautions and assume there is some relationship to the ingredients and my pup's reaction.
It's not a good product. Our Goldendoodle had issues range from not wanting to eat it, had issues going potty, and light blood in her poop. We have not had any other problems w food besides this brand. It took us a long time to figure out her food was the main culprit for her problems. DO NOT BUY. I honestly can't believe the audacity Nutro had in raising prices. They should be under scrutiny, and someone should be looking into this pet food immediately.
for some reason, I received blue diamond salmon flavor dog food instead of this, that I ordered. Dog and cats both love the Blue Diamond and it is almost 3 times as expensive and I still don't understand how I got it but thanks, lol
I was really disappointed and surprised with this product. Sadly my dogs didn't like it either! I wanted to purchase Purina One beef but it was out of stock and they usually eat Purina One lamb so I thought I'd change it up. It didn't smell right, not even as dog food! They forced it down but I ended up chucking it out.
Although Molly continued to eat her regular food, it had become clear she didn’t really love it. It would sit in her bowl and be eaten later in the day, very unlike her. Purina Beneful’s ingredients were nearly the same as her regular food so we decided to try Beneful for her morning meal. Eaten immediately each morning; Molly’s happy.
My dogs like this well enough, and thankfully they don't need any kind of specialized diet, so it works fine. Not the best quality food, but we mix it with a higher quality so the pups are happy.
We have finally found something that all 4 of our furbabies love! After trying different dry foods they were not fond of, they get excited for meal times with Beneful. WIN-WIN since it is healthy and delicious for them!
We have 3 German Shepherd Dogs and none of them really liked the taste. Quality seems good, but they are the ones who have to eat it. We are mixing the current bag with a Purina One sensitive stomach chicken and they eat that right up.
We switched brands when Chewy was out of stock of our usual kibble. Our Husky loves the Purina brand, and we love buying the local brand. Win win.
Since my precious 2 year old boxador started eating this she started itching like crazy. This has nothing to do with the product being "bad", I'm just warning in some dogs, it may cause allergies to flare. For mine we have eliminated beef and chicken. For my older dog Bud. He loves all the special arrangements we made to feeding time. He has his very own "doggie suite" during our process of eliminating allergies. Thought I would share our story since it took me a while to figure out why Oreo keeps scratching. Food allergies in dogs can start showing up around 1 to 2 years.
