It says MADE IN AMERICA.....SO....is it sourced in America? Or do any ingredient s come from China or forgien countries???
Answer by ChewyAug 09, 2018
All the ingredients are sourced in the United States.

It says no animal byproduct meal and then the ingredients say chicken meal. What does that mean?
Answer by ChewySep 13, 2020
Chicken meal is made up of chicken that has been ground and cooked, reducing the fat content to create a protein-rich ingredient. It’s high in protein and amino acids to help strengthen and maintain your pet’s muscles. It’s also a high-quality source of glucosamine for joint health. Chicken meal does not include feathers, heads, feet or entrails.

I use the Grain-free Whitefish & egg for my two cats (one has asthma). I'd like to switch up to the Grain free Salmon, Egg & Sweet Potato. Do I have to mix the two or are they similar enough to just switch over?
Answer by ChewyMay 13, 2018
For any food transition it is recommended to gradually move onto the new food over a 7-10 day period. With these recipe's being fairly similar the transition should go smoothly, depending upon the sensitivity of your individual pet's.

what is the carbohyderate content percentage of this food
Answer by ChewyNov 16, 2017

Good Food for all Ages

I have seven cats that range from 15 years old to 11 years old and they all love this stuff. It is grain-free which is a plus. I was purchasing it at my grocery store, however, they stopped carrying it locally. Chewy, thank you for carrying the product and making it easy to purchase.

My Cat Loathes Salmon!

I bought these in hope of a new love on the palette of my finicky cat Seraphina. It's a great brand and she loves the whitefish and chichen varieties so I took a chance. I blend her crunchies monthly with half of last months blend and a variety of protein boosters at night or treats at breatfast to keep it interesting. She took a few bites but the smellvwas making her gag. She lovtges the smell of salmon. I had to pick each kibble out and now feeding it to neighbors cats who love it. No reflection on the brand. Helps with hairballs!!

I had been using purina one grain free dry food for my cats. Although they loved it, I started hearing some vets say that grain free high protein may not be the best for overall health. Since I do trust purina for the price and everything I decided to try this formula and I am really pleased. My cats still love it and I have seen almost 100 percent improvement with hairballs. One of my cats is extremely fluffy with long fur and she was coughing up hairballs almost daily before switching food. It’s been about a month, and I haven’t seen even one hairball from her so I am thrilled this food has given her some relief.

They love it!

I have always fed my kitties the Beyond with Chicken and whole oat meal. I switched to the salmon (grain free) due to sensitive tummies. Their preference now is the grain free Salmon, egg and sweet potato. They love it.

Made cats vomit

This food made several of my cats vomit, and honestly I think part of the problem is the pieces are the size of dog food!! Some of my cats refused to even eat this. I am switching back to previous brand. Not sure why companies are still making grain free pet foods, animals need grains for a healthy heart!!
