The Purina Outlast treats are a great addition to the treat selection in our barn as they are beneficial and not just a sweet. These treats include Outlast gastric support so I can feel good about feeding my horse treats. The bag recommended serving is 5-6 treats for optimal gastric health or 10-12 treats for a full serving of Outlast gastric support - which is not hard to hit when my horse is owned by an adult amateur! The treats are a good shape, crunchy, no weird smell. They were easily accepted by my semi picky eater young TB. I will certainly keep these on hand for show season!

My horse really likes the taste of these treats and willingly eats them, which is always a plus. The texture is nice, not overly hard or crumbly, and they seem well-made. I also appreciate that they’re formulated to support gastric health, which is something I’m always mindful of. That said, the recommended feeding rate of 5–6 treats per day really hurts the value for me. At that rate, the bag doesn’t last long at all, and it becomes pretty expensive compared to other gastric support options on the market. While my horse enjoys them, I just can’t justify the cost long-term given how many are needed daily. Overall, good quality and palatable treats, but I wish the feeding rate were lower so they’d be more cost-effective.

I received my Purina Outlast treats as part of Chewy's Pawsabilities program because, why not, my horse LOVES these goodies!! I have used Outlast treats for the past three years and will never be without them! I give him six treats per day, which provides an equivalent amount of the regular/original Purina Outlast feed supplement. So, he thinks he's getting treats, and I know that I am helping to protect his stomach & digestive tract. It's a win-win all around!!! I prefer to give treats that are truly beneficial vs simply feeding sugary snacks with empty calories - and Outlast treats are perfect!

I wasn't to sure about these to be honest. When I offered the first one to my mare she smelled it and pushed it around in my hand, not really that intetested in

I wasn't to sure about these to be honest. When I offered the first one to my mare she smelled it and pushed it around in my hand, not really that intetested in it. She finally picked it up but spit it back in my hand and continued to push it around. She finally picked it back up and ate it and then took a second one and ate it. She's not overly excited about sweet treats, she refuses to eat StudMuffins, so it's not that they are bland and she doesn't want them. She eats them now, I don't want to waste them, but I won't purchase them when these are gone.

I am a big fan of Purina Outlast in general and feed it to my horses daily, but when I am buying treats for my horse,s I prefer to buy a treat that has some benefits

I am a big fan of Purina Outlast in general and feed it to my horses daily, but when I am buying treats for my horse,s I prefer to buy a treat that has some benefits as an alternative to the sugar treat options. These are great because they have the benefits of outlast supplement and can even be used as the supplement if you follow the directions on the back. In additionthehe size and shape are important; they are on a larger size and a distincthalf-moonn shape. It's easy to feed to your horse without getting an accidental nibble, and because it is large,r it takes a couple of seconds for them to crunch through it, avoiding having to give multiple treats!
