My dog has had off and on diarrhea for years. Vets weren't sure what was going on and my dog wouldn't eat the expensive prescription food. When I got this kit I wasn't really expecting it to help that much. The instructions were very easy to follow. The test was back in the time frame they said. I also got the veterinary report which had a lot more details. The food and supplement recommendations Petivity suggested actually worked for my dog!

One of my dogs has developed anxiety over time. He used to never be this way. Read about the connection between microbiome and anxiety and wanted to see if it provides any insight into this issue. Kit provides easy to follow instructions and I was able to easily collect a sample. Only downside is the wait for results, which were estimated at 4-6 weeks. Currently I waiting for results.

Easy & non-invasive Microbiome test

I got this product to learn more about my dog's possible food sensitivities. While I haven't received the results yet, I have been impressed with the product. The

I got this product to learn more about my dog's possible food sensitivities. While I haven't received the results yet, I have been impressed with the product. The directions were clear & concise and included pictures for each step. I like that it is non-invasive, no pulling hair or anything like that. I also have been happy with the communication from Petivity. There is a scan code included that leads you to an online link where you fill out several questions concerning your pet and register your kit. It's not long, about 5 minutes or so. Once I completed it, I got a email telling me they had received the information.After completing the test, I put it in the included prepaid, addressed envelope and mailed it back. The directions tell you upfront that it takes 3-4 weeks for the results. I received another email from Petivity when they received the sample I sent.

The Petivity Microbiome Analysis Kit is said to give you a picture of your dog’s gut health and they provide recommendations. I just took the sample so won’t have results for 4-6 weeks but I will comment on the testing process. The process itself was extremely simple. My kit did not contain the gloves that it was supposed to, but you are still able to gather your sample without touching anything, so not a big problem. The pet information survey seemed to go off in unrelated directions but I’ll know more on that once I get the results. Maybe those questions were useful.
