The bag was not sealed correctly

Vet Approved Kibble

My cat, Dusty, was overweight to borderline obesity. My vet recommended the Pro Plan kibble for senior, indoor cats. I had been feeding Dust very high quality food,

My cat, Dusty, was overweight to borderline obesity. My vet recommended the Pro Plan kibble for senior, indoor cats. I had been feeding Dust very high quality food, but it was too rich of a mixture for his age. This recommendation, along with the turkey and salmon for a taste change per meal, did the trick. He was put on this kibble to be fed up to one cup a day. That sounds like starvation food, but pour out a cup of kibble. It's a lot! I broke the cup down to 16 tablespoonfuls so I could feed him several small meals a day. I never did feed him the full 16 tablespoons each day, only up to 12 a couple of times. Dusty also was shaved down per the vet so he would be more comfortable. This kibble also helps control hairball and is recommended for indoor senior cats. My cats like it very much.

I’ve been feeding my cat Nala Purina Pro Plan Chicken & Rice for a week now, and the difference in her health and energy is amazing. She has a beautiful, shiny coat, and her digestion has improved noticeably. She used to be a bit picky, but she dives into this food every time like it’s a treat! I love that it has real chicken as the first ingredient and provides a balanced mix of protein and nutrients. It also helps maintain her weight and keeps her active and playful. The kibble size is perfect, and there’s never any waste left behind. My cat loves this food! She had previously tried the indoor version and then the adult 7+ years version and we are so excited that there is now a combination! The minute I opened the bag she ran over and ate the entire bowl, something she hasn't done in months. She refuses to eat anything else right now, even her nightly treats! The scent is not overwhelming for human noses, but still seems fragrant enough for kitty noses. We have been following the suggested portion amounts and our 13 year old cat has so much energy so I know she is getting all of the nutrients she needs!

The food is nice small pieces. Very uniform in size. I was happily surprised that the ingredients included dl-methionine. That is a must for my kitties prone to Struvite crystals. I do not like that it is higher protein content food for older cats. Usually adult/senior food has lower protein and is easier on the kidneys. I have one kitty who has kidney issues and has to be on low protein, so not sure this would be best for her all the time. My other kitties seem to like it ok. They do prefer their other food, but happily ate this too. This can be a great substitution in case their regular food starts to bore them, or is out of stock.

I compare it to feeding your kids fast food when you are too busy to cook.. This is the type of food I would only give my cats in a pinch, I prefer a healthier food for them.

What I really like is that it seems to keep him satisfied longer, and I’ve noticed he’s not begging for treats as much between meals. His coat looks shinier, and (bonus!) the litter box situation has been a little less… intense. Definitely helps with indoor-cat digestion, I think. The kibble size is perfect—not too big, not too crumbly—and I appreciate that it’s made with decent ingredients. No sketchy fillers or mystery meat. If you’ve got a finicky indoor cat, this is 100% worth a try. Mine gives it a very enthusiastic tail flick of approval.
