I have developed an allergy to cats over the years that primarily affects my eyes - burning and itching. I decided when my previous cat passed that my new cats would be on this food. It absolutely reduces my reaction to my cats. A friend who is more allergic than I am has said being around my cats is far better than being around other peoples cats. I went with the sensitive formula because another type of Live Clear seemed to upset the stomach of one of my cats, but this resolved that issue thankfully!
Best food for my cat
This cat food is the only thing my cat does not barf every single day on. I was so glad Chewy had it but a little bummed they only have the small size. And now they don't have it at all. But I got it quickly and she doesn't have to throw up every single day.
Great food
My cat has digestive issues and I started this food and she is doing so good with it. She also has a shin issue where she lost some of her fur and now it has grown all back. She now weighs around 13 pounds and she is 15 years old
Cat food
My cat is a very picky eater. But when I pick up this sack of food, she is right there ready and waiting for it. She absolutely loves this food. Even though it’s a little expensive for me, I will continue to buy it.
Kyomo won't go near
Cats & dog's ... Cats especially are finicky as they say. But I've learned from my kyomo what does well with him. One sniff he curled his tail and stances away. Unfortunately this one he thinks has something non appealing to him. I was hoping though.
losing hair!!
My cat has been dropping hair like crazy and she feels like she’s losing weight. I’ve only had her on this stuff for about a week. Switching immediately.
changed fur
I have two long-haired cats. One is a purebred and the other a stray. After using this food exclusively for a few weeks, I noticed a couple of things. First, the allergens did go down. Both cats also seemed to have more energy. Their fur coats became much, much softer, almost like angora rabbits (which I've had). However, as a result of the much softer fur, they both began to develop serious mats, which neither one has ever had before. Then, strangely, they both began to lose a LOT of hair. A LOT! It's not that they had bald patches, but that their hair just seemed to tuft out more easily. I was vacuuming three times a day just to keep my floor clean! As much as I wanted to keep using this food for the anti-allergen benefits, it just wasn't worth the extra work! I switched to Tiny Tiger canned cat food and after a few weeks, their fur coats (and shedding) is back to normal.
Amazing product that did what it claimed
My husband suffers from horrible allergies from our cat. He read about the Purina Proplan LiveClear product and wanted to give it a try. Within days of our cat eating the food, my husband's allergies were greatly improved. After about 3 weeks, he no longer suffers from allergies. But then I noticed our cat was starting to itch after the first few days of eating the salmon and rice dry food. So, I ordered the sensitive skin & stomach formula to see if it would help. Sure enough, our cat stopped itching after a few days of eating that formula. We're currently using both the salmon and rice plus the sensitive skin & stomach formula. Our cat loves the taste of both. She willingly switched from wet food to this dry food with no issues. Truly amazing product!
Um not at all
Unfortunately neither of my cats (1 year and 11 months) wanted anything to do with this new food... nor the other one I just ordered for sensitive skin and stomach...which they both were fed exclusively at the shelter I adopted them from...on to the next.....

this cat food works really well for skin allergies in cats I recommend it.
